You don't need a formal invitation…

Just go there and take your pic ;-)

slurl : THE BURIED MAN

The point is that when I see a sunset or a waterfall or something, for a split second it's so great, because for a little bit I'm out of my brain, and it's got nothing to do with me. I'm not trying to figure it out, you know what I mean? And I wonder if I can somehow find a way to maintain that mind stillness.

Uploaded for a challenge on toys. This belonged to my children when they were younger, it's a colorful master mind game with tiny little figures 1cm tall.

I'll sing it one last time for you

Then we really have to go

You've been the only thing that's right

In all I've done

And I can barely look at you

But every single time I do

I know we'll make it anywhere

Away from here

Light up, light up

As if you have a choice

Even if you cannot hear my voice

I'll be right beside you, dear

Louder, louder

And we'll run for our lives

I can hardly speak I understand

Why you can't raise your voice to say

No photo editing used, all lego techniques. Obviously inspired by this classic scene: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvDba2nMv_U

Too late; nothing stands still that long now.

Canon Sure Shot Max / Dubblefilm Jelly

First time with this film - I like the random nature of images taken with it, but it's maybe all rather 'hipster' - little post-processing

"Dubblefilm Jelly produces a unique tone with unconventional colours. The effect is unpredictable, so results will vary. Dubble Jelly has been pre-exposed to create a rainbow of bright colours. You will see reds, blues, yellows, oranges and greens washed over your images"

Perhaps not the most sensible shoes to wear on a damp morning in East London... artwork by Nathan Bowen.

Half of the credit for this picture goes to my favorite cousin Khalid. He is the one who gave me the idea of taking a picture of this tree. So, I told him to climb up, sit on the tree, and pose for this shot. He did. I dedicate this picture to Khalid who's mind is wide open and has been my best friend and best cousin since my childhood.

A glimpse into the mind...

All taken on a short visit to Pier Road Littlehampton on a sunny morning.

A quiet mind is all you need. All else will happen rightly, once your mind is quiet. As the sun on rising makes the world active, so does self-awareness affect changes in the mind. In the light of calm and steady self-awareness, inner energies wake up and work miracles without any effort on your part.

Seen at Super Run 2013 in Henderson,NV.

We had seen this or a sister ship Globemaster at a considerable distance on previous days. However, we were completely unprepared for this massive beast to quietly appear over the rooftops climbing out of Amarillo Airport. I snatched at the shot hence the rubbish photo.

The unidentified frame belongs to the 58th Airlift Squadron out of Altus AFB Oklahoma. The base specialises in training pilots for airlift and airdrop ops.

Our flickr aircraft bods are welcome to update and / or correct the above information about what I think is a C17 Globemaster 111.

Edit : Thanks to Rob for identifying the frame as 01-0190.

Somehow, this place reminded her of the fragments of feelings that flowed through her like a river. They built her up when she was weak, they supported her as she reached higher and they made a soft bed upon which she could tumble if her feet betrayed her. A place where the winds were fragrant and warm, her mind was clear and everything made perfect sense.

Waiting.

Eyes closed.

Waiting? or...

Roma

Stazione Termini, Gennaio 2013

"Mind the gap" (in inglese Attenzione al vuoto) è una frase resa popolare dall'uso nella Metropolitana di Londra. Fu introdotta nel 1969 per avvertire i passeggeri dello spazio che si viene creare in alcune stazioni tra la banchina e la porta del treno. La frase è diventata tanto nota da essere spesso stampata anche su souvenir e gadget turistici londinesi.

While at the C.N.E. one year I happened upon this Sand Sculpture of a skull that had a partial window in the side of it. What was revealed was "Mind Games " inside. It's quite the work of art, considering it's totally made of sand an upright. I kinda like it !!
