I can't help but wonder why we only use 10 percent of our brains and whats holding us back from tapping into the remaining 90 percent. Look how much we have accomplished in the last 100 yrs, we've built space stations for crying out loud among other things. I would love to see a glimps of the super humans 200 years or so from now.

While it's true that sometimes the "truth" may seem much stranger than "fiction", I'm always at a loss as why the idea of "mind control" necessarily has to have esoteric, occult or outlandish sounding conspiracy theory explanations that are difficult to articulate without sounding somewhat crazy and easily discredited by cynics. But that's just me.
To me the issue of so called “mind control”, social conditioning and false patriotism is as simple as the manipulation of mass consciousness through fear. Fear of fear itself (terrorism and uncertainty), fear of strangers, fear of not being sexy enough or cool, fear-based demonization of foreign cultures, religions, political ideologies, racial stereotypes and alternative sexual orientations.
The control of minds is often achieved through fear of being thought of as "soft" on on crime and communism, “soft” on terrorism, of being unpatriotic, un-Christian, or a relativist liberal with no moral anchor. This can easily cause us to self-doubt, self-medicate, self-censor, become polarized and paralyzed, divided and isolated. Easy targets for mind control.
No disrespect is meant or implied toward those people who may differ with my viewpoint, but I just feel that “the conversation” of public awareness or consciountization has to be one that is based on the inoculation of fear and susceptibility with good information. Information that helps us to break out from the isolation of our fearful thinking and programming that occurs when we are brought into temporary states of shock, disorientation, helplessness and suggestibility. This can be combated and dispelled by knowing what is happening to us and why. To complicate and obscure the process through mystification is most unhelpful. Relevant and timely information provides us with shock resistance, so why not arm ourselves and others?
Naomi Klein’s “The Shock Doctrine: on the Rise of Disaster Capitalism” is a very telling example of how mind control can be thought of in terms that most of us can understand, agree upon and see for what it is. The palace was originally built of organic structures so has since vanished, so I shall show you what remains.

There where many sub-structures for different classes of humans. The women had a building in the west (interestingly the west is often associated with the water element and femininity) as well as buildings for priests, warriors, the king's family members, politicians etc.
□
If one where to look at the palace from a birds eye view, one could accurately apply the analogy of the kings life being quite like a video game.
■
The king has his home base, surrounded by buildings containing numbered single function entities (warriors, concubines, priests, builders, working class etc..)
□
The prime goal being to increase the amount of entities and lands owned, mainly through gathering resources, building structures and gaining land/entities by battling other players with your war function entities.
■
Each player can give their units psychological boons via priest units, and physiological boons ( aka +1 stats ) via special resources gained such as specific foods only accessible once one has conquered specific lands.

Obviously video games are based off archetypal human social structures, but using the modern concept of a strategy video game such as warcraft or starcraft to view the very thing those games are based off, gives a refreshingly clear view of how simple and game-like social engineering truly is.
