A rework of a raw file from 2007, because something sparked my memory of it on Friday night. Not large but on black.
In a shocking turn of events, bees have evolved and have begun to strike back against humans in an all-out war. Reports have surfaced that these bees have developed a neuro toxin that can now affect artificial intelligence, making it difficult for humans to fight back. The world government is now planning to destroy their hive and queen with a large hydrogen bomb, but there are concerns that this could also destroy the planet in the process.
Many people have died in the war against the bees, as they have been able to commandeer large machines and war assets with their cyber toxin, using a process that is currently unknown. Every time the bees are encountered, they take control of the largest war assets and destroy the remaining war assets with them, leaving humans with little hope of winning the war.
However, it is believed that if their hive is destroyed, the war will be won in an instant. Additionally, a large amount of honey has been detected in the hive, weighing in at multiple tons. This honey is believed to have special mind-altering and enhancing properties, which could potentially help with the famine humanity is currently facing. Further studies must be conducted to understand the true potential of this honey, and the evil bees that produce it, if we want to defeat them and bring an end to this devastating war.
I believe that no matter how shallow, empty and lacking in basic human emotion a photograph is, someone, somewhere, will look at it and find the deep, life changing, mind altering, mojo charging meaning hidden within.
This is your challenge. I want YOU to try and dredge something meaningful and life affirming from this strange image. The more pretentious the better please.

Playing about with a picture taken in London and created this. Made my think of the sixties and the movie Modesty Blaise, hence the title.

The Title of this work I am now calling “Mediocrity Equals Hypocrisy” had some other names for it but this is the one I thought was best. Its on Canvas measuring 48 by 36 inches and its mostly Acrylic there may be a slight amount of oil paint and perhaps ink. Now we are going to attempt going deeper into the work, the themes should also help with the description so let us start. This painting is divided into 3 parts like a hierarchy on the vary bottom are the 10000s of masses of people they are assembled bowing down to the Television Demigods that are on the second level of the painting . A River of blood and gold divide the masses of people who are rendered colorfully vary colorfully to show a diversity of human types but the predominate color is red at lest there is a red tone because the bottom was red be for I painted all them people. Now moving up too the second level there are 4 demigods who look the same as each other nearly the same any how each of them are dramatically taller then the humans who they Dwarf. The demigods have angle wings too and they are dressed in business suits and carry money bags and some sort of weapons like swords. Now there is a fifth demigod who is the boss being taller and having a white red and black robe, he has a crown of gold and gems and sword with genocide written on the sword and this sword shoots energy onto the crowds of people creating black matter explosions, besides the demigods being on the second level there is a temple behind them with a giant third eye , smaller temples off to the left and right representing bastardized establishments of power . There is also a giant clock that is exploded some what representing the end of time and also Sun in full glory with his evil smile, white glittering blood stained teeth showing as it fires energies from its eyes into the crowds creating more dramatic explosions (poor masses) ripple threw the masses . Now powering the demigods is a puppeteer type giant satanic like god creature he is on the 3rd level and he powers he controls his demigods with marionette cables composed of flesh and human souls that are swirling upward and hold by the puppet like master sitting on the third stage . The masters bones are showing, and his flesh is showing he dose not need skin.. He’s a God type creature no skin for him, any how in the third stage the stage that humans and mortals can not see or view resides the master who as I said controls them demigods and absorbs the souls to give it everlasting eternal immortal power. The master is mostly red with pipes and wires on top oil pumping threw his vines as well as blood and human souls and electricity moving outward also shooting out of his powerful eyes. He controls the demigods who in turn control the humans in this hierarchy. To the right of the master is the factory of Ideology (one of the names I scraped) and some books burnings and such this would be the place the humans ideas are manufactured and placed into there primitive brains. This is about the third attempt in doing this idea and concept the first I did back in high school the 11th or 12th grade I forget, then I drew the old high school painting, that was remarkably bad into a cool looking drawing. Then following that drawing I finally started the painting. In my early to mid collage days I also did another drawing of the idea in that drawing I added the last Heretic a hero who stands in front of the masses floating above the river of blood with its wings open ready to do battle and destroy the television master in a huge dramatic battle. In that drawing I labeled the Heretic accosted its wings and the master was labeled on his crown as the Final Separatist. The original idea was something I had in high school, although some of my Believes about government and businesses and such has changed a bit, I do hold some of the same believes and because I plan to update it with the cathartic thing, the idea can change with me, I plan to do 3 of these one day, first the enslavement of the masses bowing, then the last heretic saving the masses from there brainwashed little meaningless life, then finally a battle between the last heretic, and the final separatist, with the masses helping to destroy the evil of the separatist .

this is a image i made using a 30 sec shutter speed and a high aperture, basically around my arms are Christmas lights warped around my arms, and i flapping my arms up and down,. this action made me look like i have wings or something, and turned it into a rather ghostly image, I seem too appear translucent too or something, any how as I said I enjoy the oddity of this this is a form of light drawing were the lights from the Christmas lights form lines and such on the photograph

Last time in Edinburgh I stumbled upon this shop. Not sure what it is, the doors were firmly locked, and in the window they had put up a neon sign stating "take drugs seriusly".

Just goofing around on Halloween Eve... This is a collage, but not as much of one as you might think. The only elements not in the original that were added, are the electrical arcs and the faint cloudy texture inside the glass orb. And the color, of course. But this woman was really sitting there with her head inside a large glass sphere. And she did appear to have a slight spring in her step after she emerged.
