Summer 2014 panorama
Klima Village Milos: Klima is the most picturesque fishing village of Milos and is really worth-seeing. This very beautiful village is situated near Tripiti, on the side of the Gulf of Milos. The scenic beauty of Klima is due to its syrmata, the fishermen houses that are carved into the rocks and have bright coloured wooden doors. The sunset here is an amazing experience.
This is Milo, one of the felines in recovery at APCA, an NGO for cats and farm animals, located in Uruguay in the department of Canelones.
APCA arises from the need to generate a safe place for the rehoming of colonies of feral, endangered or abused cats. They currently also have farm animals that have been rescued from human abuse.
The work they do is exceptional.
Among the animals rescued there are cases of cruelty, accidents, paralysis, cancer and other diseases, as well as cats that have been abandoned.
In viable cases, they are available for responsible adoption.
In the photo, Milo had been admitted to the center a few days earlier, I am pleased to say that he is much better now.

Milos or Melos is a volcanic Greek island in the Aegean Sea, just north of the Sea of Crete. Milos is the southwesternmost island in the Cyclades group. The Venus de Milo and the Asclepius of Milos were both found on the island, as were a Poseidon and an archaic Apollo now in Athens. Wikipedia

Milos island, Cyclades archipelago, Greece, sunset seen above Plaka village. This island is not as popular with tourists as nearby Ios and Santorini are, it's definitely prettier than Ios. A panoramic version will be uploaded sometime in the future.
With a respectable 101 cars and 10k tons in tow, F16 glides into Milo along the Sebec River, with a pair of GP38-2s, a SD40-2 and GP20ECO doing the honors. Lately the ST haulage traffic has been building over the weekends as we don't run it south until Monday night, so the southbound F16 tends to be pretty big Monday and Tuesday, often not leaving south until well into the day, such as this day.

180° panorama from the Kastro above Plaka village, Milos Island, Greece. The big chunk of the island across the bay is mostly uninhabited and off limits to rental cars because of sporadically maintained dirt and gravel roads. The storm that was coming after sunset was a big one, bringing high winds, disrupting ferry traffic, and forcing me to change my itinerary from the islands to a few days on the mainland, post storm photo from the mainland of the following day's sunset to be uploaded tomorrow.
We are almost finish with the renovations on the top floor of my house. I am still sleeping on this bed, because my bedroom is not finish yet. The livingroom is still packed with boxes full of books ect that I need to find a place for. I don't want to put up shelves om my beautiful walls, so I still need to buy some cupboards ect. But I am quite broke now!
