Sankt Mikkel's Church is an older market town church, which together with “Kirkeladen”(Church barn) is one of the oldest buildings in Slagelse. The church itself was built in the 14th century, while the tower was built in the 15th century with a major restoration 1873-1876. The former church barn from around the year 1500 was in 1616 converted into a Latin school.
