Pearl Jam in Concert at San Siro. It's one of those bands that is much better live than the studio albums, not least because they've relaxed a bit compared to the 'Ticketmaster' era. Their 30 seconds of Let it Go from Frozen in the middle of Daughter if anything was more than a confirmation of this; who would have ever thought Pearl Jam would sing Disney songs...
We had front row ring seats, as usual, but 62,000 tickets sold meant the stage was built further away than usual, almost over the lower ring of the Inter side, so that added 20m more distance than normal. The absence of a stage extension and relatively simple lighting meant the TC20 was too slow, and the TC14 was too short on the 70-200mm. Well, at least some memories of an awesome concert.

Na foto um dos momentos mais bonitos do show, quando Eddie cobriu o guitarrista Mike McCready com uma bandeira do Brasil durante um de seus solos, em "Alive" se não me engano.
Esta foi realmente uma noite especial, algo para se lembrar para sempre. Me parece quase impossÃvel agora descrever este show tão grande quanto ele foi apenas com palavras, era necessário estar lá para saber. Setlist perfeito, banda tocando com muita energia, abertura do Mudhoney, a participação especial do Marky Ramone para tocar "I Believe in Miracles" em homenagem a Joe Ramone (do qual Eddie era muito amigo) e ainda teve um parabéns em coro de 15 mil pessoas para o aniversariante Matt Cameron (baterista), com direito a bolo na cara, posteriormente compartilhado com o publico. :-)
Enfim, posso falar muitos fatos legais e ainda não vou ser capaz de explicar o que a banda e o publico presente fizeram naquele dia. Pearl Jam rocks!! \m/
Valeu muito a espera, que a próxima não demore tanto.
