We got Midnight as a drop off. Bloody from being thrown from a car and very scared. Now an intregal part of the ranch. He will be a small cat, and likely to be a great mouser.

One stage is over and we move on to the next stage.

Midnight train is my only means of transportation.

One sigh while watching the flowing night view.

I wish I could go home as it is.

But where? I have no home to return to.

Therefore, I have no choice but to keep running.

The horn of the Midnnight train echoes in the city at midnight,,,

The city lights lend a magical glow to the New Mexico skies.

I have been keeping myself quite busy lately with photography and managed to grab this shot during a nightscape workshop I co-hosted with Wayne. We waited several hours and hoped for the clouds to part but to no avail. Our guide and model for the evening Kialo Winters of Navajo Tours lead us around to some of the best spots that this area had to offer. After awhile we decided to take advantage of the city lights lighting up the clouds and Wayne setup some LLL and with the help of the occasional lightning strike to help illuminate the landscape before the group.

For expert guidance to some of the best spot in New Mexico look no further than Kialo Winters of Navajo Tours USA, he's a great guide with immeasurable patience, Hehe.

This is a combination of several exposures taken at low ISO to help reduce noise.

This was on the day I visited the Park at Gleisdreieck, which is an amazing place and as I have probably said before, it's an absolute treasure trove of photo opportunities everywhere you look in every genre you can imagine! As I let slip there, this wasn't at midnight but with the Aperture set higher for sharpness and the Shutter Speed to 1/500 this sufficiently darkened the image and with the additional WB "Incandescent" gave a beautiful nighttime cinematic feel.

I used the Nikkor 55-200mm VR1 for this shit with the VR activated. I hope you like it!
