You may think this shot was taken from the golden hour, but it was actually closer to midnight. During the summer in Greenland, the sun doesn't set at all, you can see orange turn into yellow in a short period after midnight, before the sun rises again. The only chance you can get good color tone is staying up late.

The midnight sun is an experience you absolutely must live at least once in your life. It's a fairy-tale atmosphere with the shaving sun that never goes below the skyline. The light is golden and captivating. It envelops the world in a magical atmosphere.
