Contemplando el Midi D´Ossau desde el Pic des Moines. La niebla nos cubría todo hasta que llegó un momento que se libró la niebla y pude contemplar la cima del Midi.

El Midi D´ossau no es el monte más alto de los Pirineos (no llega a 3000m), ni el más difícil, seguramente ni siquiera el más bonito, pero para mí es el más emblemático, el más reconocible desde cualquier punto de la cordillera, allí, en el medio de todo, solitario, con su silueta inconfundible... Esta foto la saqué hace ya muchos años, en la subida a los ibones de Anayet por el valle de Tena.

And this is my final post for The Epiphany as the event will close in a few hours. The Gacha Garden seems very promising this round! Everything to satisfy my girly glutony side. I mean..look at this cake!I am really looking forward to this event! For some reason, this remind me of The Aristocats (Disney). Probably the basket with the kitties! Augh, Kalopsia is sooo pushing on my button with these AMAZING treats. I was hoping she would do foodies again after her Sakura Bakery items. Yaay! The Gods of Sugar heard meee *-* ! Hope you guys like it! Sugary kisses ~♥

Quel avant-midi agréable. J'étais en compagnie d'un des gars les plus jovials que je connaisse: Simon Théberge. Comme deux chasseurs à l'affût, on tirait sur tout ce qui bouge: Geais, gros-becs, pics, sitelles et mésanges.
Cependant, ce moment de bonheur n'aurait été sans la très grande générosité de notre ami Christian Drolet qui nous a fait profiter de son installation à sa résidence. Tout simplement paradisiaque. Un gros merci Christian. Dommage que tu étais au boulot et qu'on ne se soit pas vu.

What a pleasant forenoon. I was in the company of one of the most jovial guys I knew: Simon Théberge. Like two hunters on the lookout, we shot at everything that moves: Jays, Grosbeaks, Woodpeckers, Chickadees and nuthatch.
However, this moment of happiness would not have been without the great generosity of our friend Christian Drolet who made us enjoy his installation at his residence. Thank you very much, Christian.
The Aiguille du Midi (3,842 m / 12,605 ft) is a mountain in the Mont Blanc massif within the French Alps. It is a very popular tourist destination and can be directly accessed by cable car from Chamonix. It receives half a million visits a year and puts visitors close to Mont Blanc.
The Aiguille summit contains a panoramic viewing platform, a café and a gift shop. Even in summer, temperatures in the open viewing areas can reach -10°C.
The name "Aiguille du Midi" translates literally as Needle of the Mid-day. The mountain lies south-east of Chamonix and, when seen from in front of the town's church, the sun passes over its summit around noon.
