This February, we kick-off with our first meet-up focused around the Cloud + Gaming with LAUNCH Presents: Microsoft

The term “cloud gaming” is usually associated with distribution scenarios for games, such as progressive download and video streaming on-demand. But the cloud offers game developers and studios a rich set of opportunities for enhancing game experiences and monetisation.

In the multi-player, multi-game, multi-platform, multi-device world, the cloud provides coherence, seamless experiences and the data driven insight required to drive engagement and revenue generation. From AAA titles to app store download, the game now spans the app and the cloud.

Microsoft would like to share its perspective on this opportunity for large studios and indie app builders.

At Microsoft, we get a lot of questions from young students—so many that we cannot answer each one of them personally. So we have put together a package of information just for kids that answers most of their frequently asked questions. This information includes key events in our company's history, biographies of our top executives, current facts and figures, and an FAQ.
