Microsoft venderá a Facebook por 550 millones de dólares (419 millones de euros) en efectivo alrededor de 650 patentes de la cartera que recientemente adquirió a la compañía estadounidense de Internet AOL, según informaron ambas empresas en un comunicado.
Según el acuerdo definitivo firmado entre las dos compañías, Microsoft ha decidido asignar a Facebook sus derechos para comprar una parte de las patentes que AOL sacó a subasta y que fueron concedidas finalmente a la empresa fundada por Bill Gates.
