More 6x6 fantasy locations. Deep within the Eternal Jungle the Opil peoples' fortified towers keep watch for dragons.

Couldn't resist. Massive Marvel movie = teeny tiny Avengers.

Getting back to some micro scale landscaping I started a while back.

1x Wood Elf Scout

1x Ninja Assassin

1x Grail Knight

Can't sleep. Must build more.

My first real stab at microscale (the life-size tortoise is just a bonus). Built for the Brickscalibur Medieval Micros category.

With a lifespan measured in the triple digits, the Mountain is an oblivious host to the thriving civilization on its shell.

Made for Brickscalibur's "Dwarf Tales" category

Bonsol Colony, a space dock/base.

This is my first SHIP and by far my largest MOC, covering 2x5 XL baseplates (23040 studs). It took about 10 months to build.

Built the ship a while ago for the DK vehicles book but finally got round to building a suitable presentation base for it.

Others may now it as the Poison Citadel.

This will be my brother-n-law's birthday present, hopefully he likes it as much I liked my present. Heavily influenced by the Skeksis's Castle. There's a couple of parts to finish it off and I will print a title for the base as well.

A mini-scaled building in the style of one I did 5 years ago! At the time I thought I'd build more buildings of this size, so I included technic bricks with holes to start some sort of modular mini-scaled street. Then I never got around at building another one, until now! This build took quite a while and has a rather intricate inside to enable diagonal building. I actually explored a lot of different diagonal and SNOT techniques during the process of building this. I might upload a breakdown of the inside and some additional assemblies that didn't make the cut later.

Wow, I can't believe I haven't uploaded anything in six months! Of course, busy is always the excuse, but I must admit I had to rediscover my building motivation a bit. Right now summer is starting and that means I'll have more time to get building again. Hopefully see you soon!

Micro builds of the original airships I built for "Full Steam 1"

I've been looking at slab-style ships lately, wondering what I could scale up for SHIPtember.

Hi everyone today I present to you my last moc which is once again in microscale lol, I built it in 1 hour for the rebellug 2hr monthly challenge, the challenge was to use cheese slopes for a creative purpose, I do not am not really happy with the use of these pieces but still glad I managed to insert other pieces like the statues which are droid feet. Hope you like this creation!

Another Micro-scale creation, I start to like this format.

A microscale MOC of the stair dance scene from Joker.

(One of my favorite movies!)

Hope you like this build, feedback is appreciated!

Colloquially referred to as the "bunny ears" of any assigned task force, the Yutu class serves as the FNC's latest surveillance and reconnaissance vessel. Iterating from observations of the Anansi's effectiveness as a requisitioned military asset during crisis scenarios, the Yutu offers a dedicated, combat-worthy platform for extreme-range sensory operations.

While only equipped with minimal torpedo capabilities, the Yutu's excessively powerful sensor apparatus allow it to provide a vast detection blanket for any friendly vessels within a significant range. Due to the high radiological output of said sensors, however, the vessel cannot safely operate in civilian space, or in close proximity to unshielded vessels. Despite this, the Yutu has proven itself a valuable asset when delving into uncertain territory, especially when used in conjunction with larger, carrier-based strike groups.

I need to get back into making hero shots.

One of the more dynamic looking starships on the market, the arrowhead shaped armed courier is a popular choice for individuals transporting high value, low volume goods.

So, here's yet another micro-scale Gundam: Wing Gundam! This guy fully transforms into alt mode. Whatcha think?

To be featured in the Micropolis layout at Brickfair 2013!

Experimenting with rectilinear patterns.

Last year I was mainly working on animal models and several other creatures. With this model I come back to my true passion - LEGO architecture. Towards the end of 2017 it was already shown on exibitions in Germany. By the way: this model has no real archtype.

The giant ruby has magical properies, and even a small fragment would fetch a handsome price. But the keep is guarded by harpies...

This started out as another 'ten piece build' but it seemed more fun this time to not be so restrictive. Now it's turning into a series of microscale fantasy locations on a 6x6 base, so there's more a-coming!

Social hierarchy must be maintained even in the death; the remains of the nobility are placed in the bone pots on the highest level, commoners on the lowest level.

Hidden deep in the Mystic Isles of Avalonia lies the home of Henjin Quilones and an order of Druids. Sharing the island is Henjin's wife, the elf Galaria, and her band of dragonriders, as well as the dragons themselves and a small army of support staff. The dragons live in the caves on the southern face of the island, and the humans live in buildings erected on the surface as well as in a labyrinthine complex of tunnels and caves that honeycomb the island.

Expanding from my original 12x12 vignette from the Summer Joust, I present the full 50x50 build of the Isle of Druidham. The build is ultimately for the Guilds of Historica on Eurobricks. If you haven't already, you should join!

More pictures can be found here, including views of all four sides.

I'm unlikely to ever build a full scale D-Day model, but I can show you this! This was fun to build and is pretty recognisable even if the people are a little wide.

Enjoy!

Due to making some ornaments as of late, I've been playing around with a lot of microscale builds. Since it's been awhile since I've been building for fun, it's nice to go back to my collection and look at the parts with somewhat fresh eyes.

Prohibitively expensive, technologically advanced and high maintenance strike craft; a direct threat to any capital ships in the vicinity.

I've not been active here on Flickr for a year or so, I've been posting over on Instagram on my own account and Brick to the Past. I aim to upload some photos here over the next few months, we'll see how it goes!

My second entry for the Brickset 60th anniversary microscale competition

If you're interested in getting the instructions for this moc feel free to contact me at brickster.creations@gmail.com

This is a MOC that I have been wanting to build for about a month or so. It started out originally as a one day project, and then 11 days after the project’s beginning, I sit here typing the description. Life has been…BUSY, to say the least. There are many more ideas that I am dying to start constructing…

Heavily inspired from the iOS app Epic Zen Garden, I knew that I wanted to try to make an architectural MOC in microscale. Another huge source of inspiration goes to the enormously talented MOCer Rocco Buttliere (BrickWorld Master 2016), who I had the great pleasure of meeting and displaying next to at BrickWorld Chicago 2016. Please check out his outstanding MOCs.

The MOC features a pseudo-Frank-Lloyd-Wright-style layout, complimented by a Japanese cherry blossom tree and rock garden. The gazebo was somewhat of an addition to simply fill space, though if I do say so myself I think it goes perfectly there. :P

Your comments and critique on both the MOC and photo quality are so very much appreciated.

This is a small truck created for a Facebook challenge. The challenge was to create a microscale vehicle with maximum 15 parts.

The Sanctuary rises from a ridge overlooking four valleys, famed for the clarity of their seasons. People from the region may be admitted to the Sanctuary for a period of secluded reflection -- traditionally, in Spring, for those who have just ended their education; in Summer, for those recently recovered from a life-threatening illness; in Autumn, for those who have completed their life work; or in Winter, for those who have lost a loved one.

A carved and painted folding box is a traditional memento for people who have stayed at the Sanctuary. Its design represents their experience, which can be held close inside, or unfolded to share the peace of the Sanctuary.

I couldn't afford the Disney Castle. Minnie did though, and she loves to show it off.

Somebody asked if I could show them a "behind the scenes" of my last scene and I obliged. However, I soon realised that having an actual behind-the-scenes would be virtually impossible as the photo had been an outside shot with certain variables that are not present today. So instead, I give you the partly destroyed microscale skyline that I used. As you can see, I discovered an awesome way of creating blocky skyscrapers which are similar to (but smaller in scale than) my previous design.

I tagged Christian because he likes microscale things giggity.

(A fast build for a stay-at-home Sunday ... I couldn't let Marchikoma just go by, now could I?)
