Taken with a Fujinon ES90 enlarger lens on 13.5 cm of bellows at f/8. I focus merged 67(!) shots taken at 0.25mm depth intervals, but then cropped the image back a bit.
Due to some personal difficulties I had to think out of the box for this weeks theme Aerial View. Quite pleased with the result.

Door problemen met de leverantie van microchips is het autovervoer de laatste tijd flink ingekakt. Zo rijdt RFO nog maar ca. twee keer per week met auto's voor PSA op de fraaie Gefco wagens. Op zondag 24 oktober 2021 reed de normaliter lege trein naar Bentheim deze keer beladen en vanwege werkzaamheden op de reguliere route ging de rit "onderlangs" Aangezien het "Kaiserwetter" was werd daarom naar Dordrecht getogen, in de hoop dat hier inmiddels ook wat herfstkleuren zichtbaar waren. Gelukkig bleek dit het geval en kon de gelukkig vrij schone 1828 met beladen trein naar Bentheim worden vastgelegd bij het kleurrijke Dordrecht, waar een kruisende VIRM gelukkig sneller was dan de fraaie RFO trein.

I feel fine. Do I seem any different? That's not Kermit under the examination table, it's my pal Sad Kermit. There's a big difference. He has a lot of troubles and worries.I tried to warn him that space travel isn't for everyone but he hid onboard the GioHubble and it was too late by the time I found him.
I did give away my iPhone and iPod though, everything's built right into my microchip! Wheee!

- My wife did buy the set of gold (14 crt) abacus cufflinks in Hong Kong during the early 1970's. The beads are all individual movable.
Measures: H x B = 2 x 1.2 cm
- Abacus is known to be the first mechanical calculating device. Which was used to be performe addition and subtraction easily and speedily.
This device was developed by the Egyptians in the 10th century B.C, but it was given its final shape in the 12th century A.D. by the Chinese educationists.
These Abacus were made up of a wooden frame in which rods where fitted across with rounds beads sliding on the rods. It is divided into two parts called ‘Heaven’ and ‘Earth’. Heaven was the upper part and Earth was the lower one. Thus any number can be represented by placing the beads at proper place.

A microprocessor is a single chip (L.S.I. circuit), which is used in a computer for any arithmetical or logical function to be performed in any program.
The microchip enclosure has a window that allowed the picture to be taken. The actual size of the chip is about 5 X 4mm
We have bought an automatic feeder, so that Rags and Caithlin can eat all they want, while Bastian gets a more limited diet in his usual bowl.
The SureFeed works by reading the cats' ID-microchips and only opens for those cats, it has been programmed for. It works fine - see how here.
Bastian has gained 1½ kg since he came here, so something has to be done...

In the 1980’s Philips build a giant microchip factory in the city of Nijmegen, followed by a new highrise office building they called 52-degrees about 30 years later. The industrial area that’s located between several neightbourhoods and the Maas-Waalkanaal has had several names in the office building of the city council, most people just have been refering to it as “bij de Philips”, in english simply “near Philips”. Even while local companies and the city council try to have people call it the Novio Tech Campus now, this name is more or less only used by the managers, politicians and those from outside the city. For those living in Nijmegen for years the name is mostly associated with expensive plans and gian failures. The unfortunate location between several low-income neighbourhoods (Neerbosch-Oost, Kolpingbuurt, Hatert/Winkelsteeg and Dukenburg) didn’t help either. People in those neighbourhoods felt public money draining to the companies here rather than to their situaties and promises by the city council to improve the entire area were never kept.
This includes the new Nijmegen De Goffert station. The bad connections the trains from this new station had at Nijmegen’s main station, 1.5 miles further, made it that people from this area just cycled a little bit further and didn’t get on at this new station. And people from the Dukenburg and Lindenholt neighbourhoods got worse connections at the main station from Nijmegen Dukenburg (exactly 1 mile from the new De Goffert station) as well due to the additional stop.
So as the area around the former Philips microchip factory (now owned by NXP) is widely recognizable, it isn’t all that much liked. But as it is a recognizable part of the city of Nijmegen I made this picture of the 1828 here as it passed onwards towards Kijfhoek.
Only cropped, no other post-processing...I was thinking in my bed last night, it's not bad to be bored sometimes...The LED's were playing after a definite program controlled by a microcontroller, it is the choice of the photographer when to push, ha, ha!
