Smile on Saturday's theme: Two-gether
A gift from my grandparents back in the 1960’s. This is one of so many gifts I received but the real gift they gave was love. My grandparents are and forever will be the two biggest hearted most perfect couple I’ve known. Although I miss them every day, I try very hard to make them proud and to give my grandchildren the same in return. Their gifts are more rare and valuable than this watch could ever be. 💜
I made 3 dozen Mickey Mouse cookies and 3 dozen cupcakes for a birthday party for my neighbors daughter. I was happy with the way they turned out and they were fun to make.
The best Mickey that I have in my collection* is the one that was created for me by my wife Linda. He is also the largest Mickey that I own - he is 28 inches tall and has an arm span of 28 inches. Linda made him by first modeling him out of plasticine clay and then covering that with plaster cloth. I painted him with acrylic paint. He is truly one of a kind.

I didnt know lps was releasing these but I was doing some black friday shopping at walmart and found these. So cute!
Got this used mickey mouse nuimo without clothes and decided to dress it up using little build a bear clothes.
Be careful what you wish for... you just might get it! (I've also heard... it might come true.)

This is a small ceramic figure (about 2in/5cm) of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice in the movie, Fantasia. I actually took the shot for another mm theme (I don't remember which one), but it didn't quite suit, and I posted something else. I've been waiting a few years for a better match of image and theme - so thanks for this week's theme, a great fit!
This ornament is from disneyworld when we went a few years back! I try to collect ornaments from all around the world! I have quite a collection! I also did this ornament with just low lighting below! Im still trying to figure out how to do night shots! yikes!
"Georgie, what are you doing with grandma's teacups?"

The new UK television network was shut down on Sept. 1, 1939, cutting off a Mickey Mouse cartoon in mid-broadcast. German troops had just crossed the border into Poland and it was feared that television signals could assist German bomber crews navigating over Britain.
