Taken from a distance with a 500mm lens the city of Surfers Paradise (Australia) appears a little congested with buildings and seems to rise out of the sea.

View of Tokyo from Tokyo Skytree lower viewing deck In the far, far distance by the horizon, a little to the left of the middle, you can see Tokyo Tower. This shot also includes the Sumida river, the Edo Tokyo museum, and the Ryogoku Kokugikan National Sumo Stadium (among other things of course, but they have rather distinct looks which make them stand out).

The image is the top of a building in Atlantic City that I photographed ... My Inspiration, the 1927 German science fiction film- Metropolis.
Obra encomendada a Juan Torres por el italiano Natalio Michelizzi, pionero del Balneario Atlantida, ubicado en la Costa de Oro, a 48 km de Montevideo, Uruguay.
El "Aguila" como se le conoce hoy se ubica en Villa Argentina, Balneario contiguo a Atlantida.
El inmigrante calabres acostumbraba a reunirse con sus amistades en esta construcción desde los años 30.
Un acervo histórico en nuestra costa que construye además diversas leyendas.

La cúpula del edificio está cubierta con 30,000 hojas de oro de 24 kilalates, haciendo una vista preciosa y a la vez carisima.... Gracias a todos por vuestras visitas y comentarios ;)
