Teatro de Mérida

Vista parcial desde un vomitorio.

Merida!!! Finally i could finish her. Her owner wanted a soft and friendly face up. The eyebrows don't follow her mold, i know. But that was one of the wishes of her owner because otherwise she wouldn't look friendly at all...

Colors of Merida Streets

First Edition Disney Store Merida with the famous "green nose" problem. I bought her nude and second hand.

Her nose, the ears, hands, feet, knees and chin were green (production fail), and her hair was a bit frizzy. Result after 2 weeks work :)

The Roman Theatre of Mérida is a construction promoted by the consul Vipsanius Agrippa in the Roman city of Emerita Augusta, capital of Lusitania (current Mérida, Spain). It was constructed in the years 16 and 15 BC.

The theater has undergone several renovations, such as at the end of the 1st century or early 2nd century, possibly during the reign of Emperor Trajan, when the current facade of the scaenae frons was erected, and another in the time of Constantine I (between 330 and 340), introducing new decorative-architectural elements and a walkway around the monument.

It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993.

During "Opa! A Celebration of Greece," Merida's meet-and-greet was moved by the wishing well. She was happy to be free!

Out in Merida

Well its almost another year that ends, so I decided to go to Merida.

After arrival, and going around a bit to get a place to sleep (I forgot like last year, that around this time of the year Merida is crowded and one must reserve a place), I called my friend Fer, and agreed on a time to go have a coffee and talk, this time we went downtown where after a very short walk around, short since for reasons I cant understand I was unable to walk with those heels, yes they were tall, but strangely I have previously used them, walked, and danced with them for long without trouble. It was like if the heel got broken .

Anyways, after seeing I was not able to walk we sat down to have some coffee and cake and have a nice chat. After a while talking it was time to go, my friend suggested I waited there while she went for her car, but turned out I was able to walk normally again. As I said, strange.

From there my friend took me to a park near by to take a few more pics with the Xmas lights, that I will post too later.

Kisses

Jessica
