Thursday, November 9, the Studio 678 field trip was to the opening of the On the Verge exhibit by Coleen Buzzard at the Mercer Gallery at Monroe Community College. It was a rather different experience for the kids.
The exhibit was an installation of sculptures of wire and paper and other interesting stuff. The light and shadows were an integral part of the sculptures. I took photographs with the pinhole camera. Fascinating.

Couple of original paintings by Birgitte Janssen, a dutch artist. Dana brought them for me from our friends who run Mercer Gallery. What's great is that Dana got them for me because they reminded her of hexday.com, nice when you realize your better half is actually listening on all those occasions you're ranting about something that most people would think was a total waste of time.
