Orientblau metallic over Light grey nappa leather
18" BMW M Parallel Style 37 light alloy wheels
2001 colour-coding, clear lenses and 750iL front grille
Detailed using Menzerna polishes and Duragloss sealer.
Nikon D610 + Nikkor AF-S 50mm 1.8G.
Taken in Sydney, Australia.
WIP. So far: original "#14 Challenge" tampo livery painstakingly removed with acetone-free nail polish remover. Paint defects such as rash and swirls smoothed out with Menzerna 250 compound. New BBR decals and PE logos applied. Wheels adapted from a HWE FXX parts car. Coming next: new brake disks/rotors and calipers, roll cage repainted in satin white.

Strobist Info: Three Sunpak 383's @ 1/8th power placed at front bumper just out of camera frame and the other two on the wheels to bring out some details from underneath the shadows. Triggered via Elinchrom Skyports. Shot with an A900.

Meguiars Ultimate Wash and Wax
Eurow Sheepskin Wash Mitt
Eurow Waffle Weave drying towel
Bilt hamber Auto Clay with water as lube
Menzerna Power Gloss by rotary with 3M compounding pad (amazing combo for the harder ceramic paint jobs such as Audi)
Menzerna Final Finish with an american cyclo polisher with soft polishing pads
Applied Glare Professional Polish as sealant
Topped with two layers of 3M Show Car Paste Wax
Instafinish Air Freshener with cherry fragrance applied under car seats
The interior was lighly maintained with vacuum cleaning, some spot treatment and the door shuts was treated with som Sonax spray wax only

Washed (two-bucket method), clayed, washed again, dried with microfibre towel. Swissvax Cleaner Fluid, Menzerna Finishing Touch Glaze (bonnet and roof only - waste of time), Collinite 915 wax all over and on wheels, tyres dressed with Meguiars Endurance Gel, exhaust tips done with Autoglym metal polish. Pleased with the result. :-)

A large batch of these came all the way from Ötigheim, Germany. Part of our quarterly stock replenishing exercise at AutoDetailer.
Strobist: Main Sunpak 383 at 1/16th power on camera right mounted on lightstands. Secondary Sunpak 383 at 1/4th power backlighting from the behind the bottles. Third Sunpak 383 at 1/8th power on camera left, snooted and aimed at the top front portion of main bottle. Triggered using Poverty Wizards.
