Finally some warm weather but it seems to have melted this winter blooming amaryllis flower.

This image of icicles hanging at the bottom of a pier showed a portion of pier as a black shadow through a third of the bottom left side. I eliminated it by duplicating the image and flipping it. The blending in was easy enough and ended up increasing the number of icicles.

Gotta love it when a lava lamp comes to the rescue.

I finished my third shift in a row today... had that "here I go again" thought... tried two or three other ideas then spotted the lava lamp. Took the poor thing about 30 minutes to heat up! but it certainly came to the rescue tonight :oD I LOVE this!! haha!

By the way, it's not an original idea.. one of my favorite 365 November buddies did it very near the start of the project,

This time we did another experiment with primary colors. We wanted to add a melting effect to the letters without the letters becoming unreadable. To get the best result we thought that the fill in should be mostly done with hard edges and the melted part only with curly waves. It worked very well.

Vanochtend vroeg werd een interessante trein gespot: de 1324 van HSL met CentralBahn koppelwagens en Arriva's 306, op weg naar Leeuwarden. Door de zoveelste meltdown bij ProRail bleef dit transport echter urenlang steken, gelukkig wel precies op de webcam in Harderwijk.... nadat het konvooi daar eindelijk vertrokken was, was qua licht de stek bij de Marslanden in Zwolle haalbaar. Hier waren de donkere wolken nét niet helemaal weg bij de zon, maar zat er zeker beter licht op dan eerder die ochtend het geval zou zijn geweest. De 306 is eind 2021 beschadigd geraakt bij ene ontsporing in Groningen en werd na herstel bij Stadler in Zwitserland nu retour gebruiker gestuurd.
