Megumin strolling around in front of her parties new mansion. I know this is not the real mansion from the show but believe it or not, I was tempted to rebuild it as a prop for this photo (I even had a paper model sitting on my shelf for weeks) but ultimately ended up searching for a real-life location, when I realized how big and time-consuming this endeavor would be. Luckily there is no shortage of beautiful old buildings where I live and I think this castle from a time when Maria Theresa ruled the nation fits the scenery nicely.
And yes, this is an on location shot with a massive baseplate near ground level while using a wide-angle lens.

This is my own creation (MOC) of Megumin from the anime "Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!" (KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World!).
I used instructions from LEGOdouMoko as reference for the structure of the head and upper body of this character. Based on their instructions, the head and arms can be rotated.

Just got this Charlotte Nendoroid figure and I absolutely love it. Gonna get Megumin from konosuba by the first week of December.

These nendoroids are expensive but so worth it.
Speaking of konosuba from earlier, I just wrapped up 3D designing megumin's and aqua's weapons and just started sculpting Aqua's hair.
Ich möchte mal wieder mehr meine Animefiguren fotografieren. Das am liebsten draußen. Dabei gestaltet sich der Transport noch als größeres Problem, da viele Figuren nicht fürs rumtragen gemacht sind.

This year Studio Drive released the third season of Konosuba and, to celebrate it, here comes the full lead cast. The whole gang is an iteration from its last incarnation (2020), which did not age too well. Keen observers will notice that their designs adopt body frames from other recent chibis.

Das macht richtig Spaß und stellt uns auch immer wieder vor große Herausforderungen. Denn viele Anime Outfits sind ja nicht auf den Alltag ausgelegt und man muss richtig kreativ werden.

Here come Darkness (left) and Megumin (right). Darkness is a tank class knight who also happens to have intense masochist urges. Megumin is a delusional wizard that qualifies as a walking weapon of mass destruction.
These two dysfunctional heroines are part of the lead cast from Konosuba, a must-watch comedy anime that makes fun of the tropes from the Isekai and Fantasy genres. This Spring 2024, Studio Drive released the long-awaited Season 3 and, oh dear it was good! I missed the gang so much!
Both chibis are updates of previous ones, taking advantage of techniques from recent mocs. So do not worry if you experience some deja vú.
