… Priscilla and her mate, handsome Jasper, moved into our allotment a couple of weeks ago. They’ve just had cubs, but haven’t brought them in the open yet.
Priscilla and Jasper are very laid back characters, good at keeping pests away from our cultures, but also at lifting the odd sandwich or stray lunchbox.
She was actually on her way to inspect the inside of our shed when I surprised her. She just gave me a quick once over before carrying on her inspection as if she owned the place.
As far as I'm concerned, she does :-)

So, since losing Arthur, Ginger has been very depressed. We hadn’t planned on getting another dog until I heard Gingers parents had had another litter and would we like one to help Ginger out… there was only one answer to that and here he is. He’s 8weeks old and full brother. We chose him because he was Gingers double at the same age❤️ needless to say Ginger is over the moon and her depression is practically gone! X
His person described him as "The Ambassador of Joy from the small island nation, Euphoria." Formerly a shelter dog before being rescued to live in his forever home. : )

Thank you for your visits and comments dear friends. Hope everyone has a lovely (Valentines) weekend.
The flu has really grabbed a hold on me. Ugh😷

Magic happens at sunset on the flood plains of Chobe Park. The animals can almost hide in the encroaching darkness, but there is always a hint of their presence.
A reminder that all of my images are copyrighted and are not for your use in any way unless you contact me.
Another interaction with a sheep who approached me very loudly, presumably in her protective mother role.
Her two young lambs were quick to distract her with their needs.
On the way home I talked with a farmer who told me a little about his life, so very different to my own.
I present you, Hathi!
Thank you, my love, for this little fella! I absolutely love elephants and because of you I now have one of my own. [smiles brightly]
His name comes from my favorite Disney movie, Jungle Book. Of course...this is Junior.

"Bow down in position
Against the polished steel
This is something different
You'll like the way this feels
No time for asking question
No time for wondering
We've heard enough from you now
We've heard everything
We're going to play a new game
You'll put on this blindfold
You'll do what we tell you
You'll do as you're told
Used to be the leader
But now comes the time to serve
Maybe we show some mercy
Maybe you get what you deserve"
Another view from my favourite area in Hillock Wood, these two firs seem to be in a very playful mood on a wonderful misty morning!
Santa Fe freights led by Super Fleet GEs meet at Hinkley just west of Barstow, California, on the Mojave Subdivision on March 6, 1995.
Priscilla is our new cat. She is a two-year old rescue kitty that won our hearts. Expect to see more of her from time to time. ; )
If you came back as a bird what would you choose to be?
Something admired
Something respected and feared
Something fast and dynamic
Something relatively long lived (up to 20 years!)
Something virtually every other avian longed to be
Here's the answer...
Meet the Boss

Zelda is an Aldabra Giant Tortoise (Aldabrachelys gigantea). This huge and long-lived tortoise species is endemic to Seychelles in the Indian Ocean.
The only wild ones left are on Aldabra Atoll, where it's protected. It is one of the world's largest tortoises, unrelated to those in the Galapagos.
Zelda loves interacting with people and lives with two dozen others and Adrian Graham.
