I had the privilege of spending the day at the British Wildlife Centre yesterday and became closely acquainted with the newest Fox on the block - Morty!! He's a mischievous youngster with oodles of personality!!

… Priscilla and her mate, handsome Jasper, moved into our allotment a couple of weeks ago. They’ve just had cubs, but haven’t brought them in the open yet.
Priscilla and Jasper are very laid back characters, good at keeping pests away from our cultures, but also at lifting the odd sandwich or stray lunchbox.
She was actually on her way to inspect the inside of our shed when I surprised her. She just gave me a quick once over before carrying on her inspection as if she owned the place.
As far as I'm concerned, she does :-)

Female leopard (Panthera pardus)born March 2018. She is one of two sisters born to the Nhlanguleni female. Nkuwa has taken up residence in the north-western part of Londolozi Game Reserve in South Africa - adjacent to her mother's territory. Her name derives from the local Shangaan word for the enormous Sycamore Fig Trees that she enjoys visiting.

So, since losing Arthur, Ginger has been very depressed. We hadn’t planned on getting another dog until I heard Gingers parents had had another litter and would we like one to help Ginger out… there was only one answer to that and here he is. He’s 8weeks old and full brother. We chose him because he was Gingers double at the same age❤️ needless to say Ginger is over the moon and her depression is practically gone! X

Priscilla is our new cat. She is a two-year old rescue kitty that won our hearts. Expect to see more of her from time to time. ; )

Zelda is an Aldabra Giant Tortoise (Aldabrachelys gigantea). This huge and long-lived tortoise species is endemic to Seychelles in the Indian Ocean.
The only wild ones left are on Aldabra Atoll, where it's protected. It is one of the world's largest tortoises, unrelated to those in the Galapagos.
Zelda loves interacting with people and lives with two dozen others and Adrian Graham.

This is a Hinterwald calf at the demonstration farm of our zoo. It's probably only a few days old but already has the huge and ugly eartags. The Hinterwald is an old breed of cattle from the Black Forest. The breed is considered as endangered.

This is one of the Monrepos squirrels, a male. I call im Shorty, not because he is particularly small, he isn't smaller than other squirrels, but because he has a very short tail (see photo in the comments). Shorty was born with a normal tail but when I saw him in November his tail was full of mites. About two week later he had lost part of his tail. He copes well, seems to be happy and healthy now and is always one of the first to show up and look for food.
