In all the comotion of doing my exam, the flickrmeet and me playing with an iPad that isn’t kmine I completly neglected to show you my publication in Fonk magazine. My “Kabuki Scream” right on the frontpage and 4 pages of exposure of little old me ;-) So proud and so glad I got that oppurtunity. I wouldn’t mind getting more exposure ;-)

Earlier this afternoon, just before finally getting up out of the dentist's chair, puffy with novacain after my first-ever root canal.
These procedures have a well-earned reputation of not being enjoyable. Unfortunately my total time in the experience doubled because some sort of IT thing went wrong with the X-ray technology and they couldn't take X-rays for an hour and a half!
At any rate, home safe, pain managed, grateful for the great staffing at the dentist's (if not their technology), and ready to get on with the evening.
Active Assignment Weekly:
I was at a Halloween street party tonight, looking for things that might represent my personality. When I saw these balloon lanterns, I knew they captured who I am. I am a very colorful person, but my moods can switch easily, represented by all the different sized orbs. I also love to dance (the disco ball in the background). There are so many different sides to me, but I mostly feel like spirit, instead of body. I don't take myself too seriously. I feel that my consciousness is more important than my appearance or personality, so it's really what's inside of these round lanterns that encompasses me the most.
This Western Scrub-Jay had no objection to me photographing him while he hunted and consumed acorns. But at one point he stopped and gave me a good look over to see if I was a problem or not and then went back to what he was doing; hunting and eating acorns.
I looked for them again this morning but they had not shown yet.
I just can't say enough about my girlfriend Cindy! She's the one who got me out of my doldrums of just being a "home girl" and opened up the world to me! Thanks, Cindy!
Our DC Area Trans Ladies MeetUp Group's April "Spring Soirée" was held at the Fair Oaks, VA Marriott Hotel! ...And of course I had to have a few pix taken of me to remember it by!
My ensemble for the soirée is based on this slinky black lycra spandex minidress with one mesh sleeve & insets adorned with black polkadots that came from venus.com. I've matched it up with my super shiny black Platino Cleancut 15 denier pantyhose from shapings.com worn over Hanes Alive Barely There support hose from onehanesplace.com and my black leather peep toe ankle strap platform pumps with the 5" heels, also from venus.com.

You can just make out the new Hungerford pedestrian bridge in the background on the left and there is a kids play area just to the right of centre to entertain the little devils whilst you wait for your turn on the eye

Reminds me of this photo of Payge holding her baby sister.
Hard to believe that was 6 years ago and Payge will be 11 this month.
They grow up so incredibly fast.
PS The old photo was taken with my camera phone, which makes me have a whole new appreciation for the iPhone. Jeez.
