The Monkey just finished filling up on water.
Mr Boney and Ms Pumpkin Pie soon followed.
Dogs raced and zipped around having big fun.
An hour later they climbed into the sidecar
and directed their k9manservant to take
them home and feed them breakfast.
Without wasting any time we left
heading straight home where
they were all fed a meal ;-)

Lough Erne (from the Irish: Loch Éirne meaning "Lake of the Érnai", one of the ancient Fir Bolg tribes) refers to two lakes in Northern Ireland, which are in effect widened sections of the River Erne. The waterway is mostly situated in County Fermanagh. The river begins by flowing north, and then curves west into the Atlantic. The southern-most lake is further up the river and so is named Upper Lough Erne. The northern lake is Lower Lough Erne. The town of Enniskillen is situated on the short stretch of the river between the lakes. The lakeside is high and rocky in some parts and, in addition to the 154 islands, there are many coves and inlets. When windy, navigation on Lower Lough Erne, running for 26 miles almost to the Atlantic Ocean, can be something of a challenge with waves of open-sea dimensions. Shallow Upper Lough Erne, flowing south-east of Enniskillen for about 12 miles, is a maze of islands.

Those in the upper lake include Bleanish Island, Dernish Island, Inishcorkish, Inishcrevan, Inishfendra, Inishleague, Inishlught, Inishturk, Killygowan Island, Naan Island and Trannish. Several of the islands are privately owned, and occasionally come on to the open market. In 2007 Inishturk went on the market at the price of £695,000.

mission:emulate the style of the photographer Pete Turner
WIT(What It Took): rather than emulate one particular photo of Pete's I tried to emulate his over saturated style along with his interest in geometric shapes. We were at Mc'Donald's in Klosterneuburg, Austria (a place we don't frequent very often) but I saw these tubes of the play area and thought it would work for this assignment.

PLEASE HELP TO SAVE OUR HERITAGE
The preferred route for the N2 Slane Bypass, County Meath, Ireland, announced in January 2010 by the National Roads Authority, runs 500 metres from the edge of the Bend of the Boyne UNESCO World Heritage Site. According to the World Heritage Committee: "The three main prehistoric sites of the Brú na Bóinne Complex, Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth, are situated on the north bank of the River Boyne 50 km north of Dublin. This is Europe's largest and most important concentration of prehistoric megalithic art. The monuments there had social, economic, religious and funerary functions. The Committee inscribed the site under criteria (i), (iii) and (iv) and invited the Irish authorities to control carefully future developments in and around the site and to involve ICOMOS in conservation and management planning."
