May the 4th: Celebrating Star Wars Day
The prompts:

The issue is just that the desired individuals are not visible, I believe this is due to the "style 750". Nonetheless, I still like the image

Sorry for my recent “radio silence”. I’m still having a very frantic period and I hadn’t the time to focus on photography but I wanted to wish you a wonderful Star Wars Day.

A Star Wars day special,

This build is both an extension of my long-planned project (an Imperial base) and an online collab with my friend Noah (H2Brick).
Who motivated me to do this? Well, Noah did whose part of the collab comes very soon. It's much more vertical than mine, I'm gonna spoil you just this. :D It was so nice to do multiple whatsapp/discord building calls with Noah and give feedback to each other.
Hope you like this updated version of the base. I personally see some oversimplified areas that I can improve in the future.
Don't worry, I'll work on them. I'm having an exam session now and I was grinding for the past 5 days to get this done. I guess it was worth it! :D
BTW. The size of the moc is 2x3 gray 48x48 baseplates now, will be expanded again this year!

Got inspired by the #councilofmasters so I wanted to throw something quick together even though I’m not a part of it. Figure is my current SWTOR armor with a new face that is, well, my face! Haven’t updated my sigfig in half a decade so I might as well now! Let me know what you think!
Exciting news!!! I’ve just put the finishing touches to my website update www.willplunkett.photo (including a print shop, cough… cough) and a new blog post on, ‘scouting tools and techniques for woodland photography’. In the coming weeks I will be adding some autumn workshops I will be running in North Yorkshire along with the option to book some 1-2-1’s. But enough self-promotion for now and back to the image.
This was taken on a recent trip to Fanal Forest on the Portuguese island of Madeira. I had a total of 8 days on the island and had big plans to spend time in the forest getting to know the place ahead of hopefully some favourable conditions to make some images. Unfortunately the best laid plans of mice and men and all that... I seemed to arrive in Madeira having contracted some kind of respiratory illness and spent 7 of the 8 days in bed thinking I’d been on a 2 week paint stripper bender with how sore my throat and head were.
This, by far, is my favourite of those images. However to add insult to injury, half of the forest (apparently the better half) was closed for filming of a new Star Wars show, “the Acolyte” hence the title.
Thankfully when I did feel well enough to venture to the forest the conditions were in my favour and I managed a morning of photography in between the wheezing (you might have been mistaken to think I was actually Darth Vader.

I've built this for a contest hosted by LEGO Ideas battle contest, called "The Greatest Battle built by YOU!".

I don't usually pay much attention to all the made up "days" out there, but this happened to coincide with May 4th so why not?
We chase the cloaked figure through the temple. Going through a large door into a poorly lit room where we can see a glowing crimson-red blade in the distance. Every step we make and every breath we take feels substantial. We hear the clank of our boots hit the floor like shots from our blasters, though we hear not a sound from the mysterious figure.
As Dutch and I go further and further into the cave like temple, the chill becomes colder and the light becomes dimmer. Suddenly the figure spins on its heel to face us. We slow down cautiously optomistic of its next move. It pulls down the hood of its cloak to show the orange-ish brown horns of an Iridonian Zabrek.
"Do you know what this is?" it says. We don't even consider replying.
"This is the tomb of Ulic Qel-Droma the great. One of the most preeminent sith to exist! His work was left unfinished... This is something I plan to change."
With that, suddenly the room is filled with flashes of light from a lightning bolt. Part of the ceiling begins to crumble leaving a skylight. The eerie light from the moon shines directly on a large shrine across from us.
As I stand in awe at the architecture, large metallic hands begin to break through the cold stone around us. The droid are coming for us and the Zabrek is no-where to be seen...
It's time to escape.

Due to the STAR WARS day I present you my updated C-PH patrol speeder bike from Solo: A Star Wars Story! Back in 2018 a made a first attempt in building the vehicle right after the movie premiered! Now in 2020 I'm back with this much improved version.
Changes I made are:
- more accurate black stripes
- colour correction
- increased stability
- more detailed console
- different skeleton on the inside
