Drone images have some nice added values, compared to normal landscape photography. The bird's eye view gives a different perspective, it shows far away elements (f.i cities) that normally aren't visible, and it shows clouds in a different way. They get more volume, and more layers appear.
Most of the things I just described can be seen in this aerial from the Biesbosch. The Biesbosch is a National Park in the Netherlands, and it started to develop, after a flood in 1421, when dikes broke through, and the influence of the tide started to shape the area.
Further north you can see the Noordwaard, that nowadays has a function as a water reservoir when river levels rise. I already posted a shot about that (www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/49618830121/in/datepo...).
