The Cap "documentary" Captain America: 75 Years aired on ABC tonight. At least there were mentions of Namor and the original Torch. Nothing on Frederick Wertham and "The Seduction of the Innocent", which fairly did away with most comic book super heroes who weren't Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Green Arrow (you know the basic Superfriends and eventual JLA), but they are all DC, not Marvel. Nothing about why Marvel heroes returned in 1960 (Marvel's response to the last sentence), just that they returned. Anyway, it was just an hour long infommercial leading into "Captain America: Civil War".
Obviously I shall have to do a Marvel week leading into this "Civil War" rubbish. Also I must do something on May 4th, and on May 5th. Of course there is Free Comic Book Day coming soon.

Loosely based on Sideshow's Fantastic Four Diorama, one of my favourite statues... I still hope to own it one day, though I'm going to begin my Sideshow statues with the acquisition of Scarlet Witch Comiquette (see Dr Teng's wonderful review of it here). Eagerly awaiting September.
Anyway, featured here are 6-7" figures of the Fantastic Four. Mr Fantastic and Human Torch (custom haircut and paint) were released by Hasbro. Jessica Alba movie Sue Storm by Toybiz and finally, my latest purchase, Marvel Select Thing.
Must say, it was a disappointment. Despite its sculpt, size and weight, the figure is really a brick. The "base" that came with it was very forgettable as well... Not to mention his right leg broke off while I was posing it for this photoshoot. Sigh... I hope Abomination and Juggy don't turn out like him.
BTW, borrowed an image of the LSB Galactus bust by Sideshow for the back drop.

Just watched the Ironman 3 movie.
IM3 is the very fun and interesting film...... but I cant see how powerful is Mark 42 suit and Iron Patriot (War Machine) is completely useless in the movie, the most shocking thing to me is that Tony cant wear the Mark 42 suit to fight with the final boss. XD
P.S.
Mark 6 can one on one fight with Thor and "eat" the thunder attack from Thor directly without serious damage.
Mark 7 can fight with ton of alien soldiers and save the world.
but the others Mark ??? to mark 42 suit.......????? XD
Ironman fans dont blame me, please.
