Some Avengers. Really love that we have a great Sam Jackson (fellow Morehouse Man) Nick Fury figure. And he fits in with Marvel Select! Also, Icons Hulk is worth whatever you pay for him. Expertly sculpted, amazingly articulated Hulk that works with 6 and 7 inch figs.

Comparing the Jean Greys from the new Marvel Select and the older Marvel Legends, that's a variant of Rachel from the previous photo. Turnabout is fair play!
Looking at all four figures, it is pretty clear which ones in each version was the base figure. Looking at the Legends Jean, you can see all the leftovers from being based on Rachel, such as the glove straps, the belt, the torso, etc.
I think basing Rachel off of Jean for the Select, turned out better. Rachel may be missing a few details, but they were able to take a basic Jean and add stuff, and with the earlier Legends, they couldn't as easily remove stuff from Rachel to make her a Jean. The Legends ends up being a poor Jean representation, and clearly a Rachel knockoff, whereas the Select Jean is clearly a Jean, and makes a more than passable upgrade to Rachel.
Surprisingly, it came apart real easy.
Diamond Select Toys royally sucks. They made this defective figure, had me mail it to them, and now refuse to send me a replacement. Don't buy any of their crap products anymore. This includes Marvel Select as well as Mini-Mates (Kubricks are way better anyhow).
I'm pissed.
From a storyline I have yet to read but I am very anxious to check out, Tony Moore and Remender's take on Venom. Google it, sounds cool and I am not a Venom fanboy at all.
