It's great to finally have Firestar to add to your collection, it's been a long time coming!
I do this theme quite a bit between these two. I tend to gravitate towards Creed in his earlier incarnation.
Captain America's from Toybiz Face-off Series 1, and Red Skull is from Marvel Legends Series 5. This set up was inspired by Sideshow's versus statue. Well, once again it doesn't remotely resemble the Sideshow masterpiece, but action figures does have their limits. Glad I didn't have to pay a hefty price for Red, got him through a trade on fwoosh. Thanks Kevin!
Going through and trying to update some of my earlier shots. Trying out different tricks to get the shot I originally wanted, but didn't know how to get.
This is an updated version of this shot and this shot. I wanted to catch him "shaping" the flame as opposed to just being freaked out that there's a giant torch shooting towards his face.
Since I had Firestar parts lying around from my Moira custom, I decided to put them to use!
The Firestar upper arms are a perfect match for Retro Rogue.
I used the Firestar hair with some extra sculpt on the Rogue/Pyro 2-Pack head and the hand from HOX Marvel Girl and she's ready to go!
Omega Red is a tough opponent, even for Bishop.
This is actually the first shot in a set of six that I posted on IG.
A mix & match version of Apocalypse. The Age of Apocalypse one is not from my era in comics, but the hands, heads, shoulder pads, and cape all seem to work well with the BAF.
Testing out the new lightbox, as recommended by RevLimit.
Straight out of the camera. No tweaks, no Photoshop trickery other than converting the RAW file to JPG.
