Micro (macro) photographs of lit candles, showcasing the amazing art that's produced when a candle's wick burns and the candle's wax melts into incredible shapes.
It took me awhile to be able to expose properly for both the burning wick and the flame itself, and it's challenging to get a sharp focus as I shoot these handheld.
Click on the photo to view it large and better see the amazing details.

What out, Prachuap! Dr. Banner has lost his cool! Marvel Comic characters are very popular in Thailand and Hulk is one of the more popular figures. This particular creation is located in front of a restaurant along the beach road at Ao Prachuap.

Instead of watching the new Star Wars movie, I had reactivated my Netflix account so that I could catch that Jessica Jones series.

I've been dying to photograph this Marvel Legends Wasp figure, but was waiting for #jantmanuary_2019 to come 'round. She's so fun to shoot and has quickly become one of my favorite figures!

Sometimes I just get on a kick to paint some superheroes. This is one of those times. Here's Ms. Marvel.
Venom is of a race of alien symbiotes that are formed from a thick, liquid, organic material. They, as their symbiotic nature suggests, depend on other beings to help them sustain their life force. In exchange for this relationship, the symbiote offers great powers to its host. Unfortunately for the host, the symbiotes are not keen on the idea of separating and eventually start to fully consume both mind and body of their hosts. Removal of the symbiote is often only possible through the usage of strong sound waves produced from intensely loud and sustained noises.
As a child, Matt Murdock was blinded by radioactive waste while trying to save an elderly stranger about to get hit by a truck carrying the dangerous material. In turn, his other senses were heightened to superhuman sharpness and he gained a form of "radar sense". By day he is a successful trial lawyer, but by night, he guards Hell's Kitchen as Daredevil.
I'm liking the Hasbro version of Pyro better than I expected. But I'm still not ditching the Toybiz version.

How many can you spot?
The new trailer has been out for a number of days. There appears to have been some improvement to En Sabah Nur's (Apocalypse's) look. Much, much better than his Ivan Ooze counterpart! I'm a bit more excited for this film.

A site specific work about an epic battle between Marvel characters and aliens invading New York. A mix of indigenous and popular culture and the notion that an alien invasion is not so hard to imagine but rather a part of history.

Stanley Carter was once a good cop, the best on the force until he was double crossed and set up by his own partner. Now he's a vigillanty, stalking through the night, takes matters into own hands. Obsessed with putting and end to scum and villainy by any means nessary.
He usually wields a sawed-off shot gun with any other arsenals collected from the evil people he destroys.
Before he kills his victim, he makes them pray and then blows their head off.
