We returned last night from attending a wake for my husband's best friend who he had known since 4th grade to find that additional forest closures had been mandated related to the Pack Creek Fire to some of the areas where my husband and I recreate on a regular basis, in particular, Medicine Lake.
My husband is a Vietnam Veteran. Physical activity is his therapy. The back side of the La Sals provide a restorative environment where he can run, ski, bike, and hike. He clears deadfall and debris from running and bicycle trails in the spring and has bagged every peak in the range.
We live on the saddle of South Mountain and cut down dead aspen in the fall for firewood. We were married in the La Sals. The La Sal mountains are our life. The mountains are our medicine.
We are happy to be married before our Lord God and many witnesses.
We swear to admire, love and help each other, and to create a peaceful, happy family.(◡‿◡*)❤

The farmhouse of Dimas / Vilanova i la Geltrú (Catalonia)
The farmhouse of Dimas is a center located to the right of the road of
Cubelles, near the Aragai and the school of the Franciscans.
Currently the constructions of the windmill district
they surround it. It was built in the 1880s as a second
home. Despite its name as a farmhouse, it has not had
agricultural dependencies. Since 1983, the land of property

Dimas Ynglada y Moragas (1828-1884) was the son of José Ynglada and

Mitrofan of Voronezh (in the scheme of Makarius) is a bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church, the first bishop of Voronezh. Glorified as a saint on June 25, 1832. The future saint was born under the name Mykhailo in a family of Orthodox priests. He was married, had a son Ivan. At the age of forty, Mykhailo became a widower. In 1663, he was ordained a monk with the name Mitrofan. Mitrofan Voronezh blessed Tsar Peter the First for the construction of the Russian navy and the Azov campaign. At the bishop's funeral, Peter the First personally carried his coffin.
According to information from the Antiquarian magazine No. 86: "Restoration: Revival of Treasures", 10/14/2014, the image of Bishop Mitrofan of Voronezh, on the edge of the pylon of the side chapel of St. Olga in the choir above the southern nave, belongs to the brush of Wilhelm KotarbinskI. Other sources call Pavel Svedomskyi the author, others assert joint authorship or the impossibility of determining authorship. Kotarbynskyi, being a Catholic, did not sign his works in accordance with the contract for the performance of the works.

Some members have mentioned that my shots rarely show people. And this is true. Thursday I started a new career as a wedding photographer when my sister and my new brother in law married in the lighthouse of Blavand. Reflecting on 2013 I would say its been a good year :o) Both my sons got married to wonderful women, we had holidays in New Zealand and France, and I had fun in my hide. Also I got one of my photos in the British Wildlife Photography Awards book, and I met several of my flickr friends too :o)))
