Map tree frog (Hysiboas geographicus) photographed while in Guyana on expedition with Global Wildlife Conservation/World Wildlife Fund-Guianas.
While checking out Google Flu Trends (which is otherwise neat: www.google.org/flutrends/ ) I couldn't help but notice how retarded "poorly-rendered" Michigan looks.
Come on, Google! I know you have satellite pictures of this to prove to yourself it doesn't look as blob-like! :)

I spent a week at a conference hosted at Seabeck Conference Center. I explored the trails above the developed property a bit and was confused. I was able to get this map from the office, but it would have been easier for me if it was available online. Note that the trails are definitely not to scale. If I had brought my GPS unit with me I would have mapped them out myself. The nice thing is that the trees on the Seabeck property have been growing since the initial logging in the late 1800s and have grown into a mature second growth forest. The neighboring properties are obvious by the lack of these bigger trees.
