This wooden mankind looking elephant with his enormous feet is one of the weirdest in my collection and one the tallest, about 56cm. It has a African look and I'm not sure if it has a meaning or just made for fun.
It reminds me a preacher, who telling us to seize the day. So lets do that en enjoy ;-))
The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.
H. P. Lovecraft
A close up view of warp and weft in a woven fabric.
Warp and weft are terms for the two basic components used in weaving to turn thread or yarn into fabric. The lengthwise or longitudinal warp yarns are held stationary in tension on a frame or loom while the transverse weft is drawn through and inserted over-and-under the warp. A single thread of the weft crossing the warp is called a pick.
Inventions during the 18th century spurred the Industrial Revolution, with the "picking stick" and the "flying shuttle” (patented by John Kay, 1733) speeding up production of fabric (Wiki).

Plato, The Republic
Plato, 428/427 or 424/423 – 348/347 BC) was an Athenian philosopher during the Classical period in Ancient Greece, founder of the Platonist school of thought, and the Academy, the first institution of higher learning in the Western world.
He is widely considered the pivotal figure in the history of Ancient Greek and Western philosophy, along with his teacher, Socrates, and his most famous student, Aristotle. Plato has also often been cited as one of the founders of Western religion and spirituality.

Probably what we do judge everlasting could be just provisional in a God's point of view.

Searching for peace to mankind starts with each and one of us.
The time for cleansing is right now, within yourself. Look at your reactions, why do you act like you do - have someone hurt you sometime? Try to forgive and the energy that is stuck within, which hurts, may disappear more quickly than you will imagine.
And not to mention getting rid of things and people that won't do you any good...
Swooooosch gone, done it √
Not finished yet tho 😂
I'll never give up hope for mankind, we will wake up 🙏
Ooooops my blah blah went on again, theehee

My Peace will stand before anything on the face of this earth........I don't bow down to mankind.....I look up to where my help comes from..........I am who I am........ No One is perfect and that's is how it is......I do unto others as I would have them do unto me......If they do me wrong they go right beside George Washington in the History book.
Some day the earth will weep. She will beg for her life, she will cry with tears of blood. You will make a choise, if you will help her or let her die, and when she dies, you too will die.
(John Hollow Hern, Oglala Lakota – Indian wisdom)
Be tolerant of those who are lost on their path. Ignorance, conceit, anger, jealousy and greed stem from a lost soul. Pray that they will find guidance. (Elder wisdom)
I love nature as it is, without mankind changed or straightened. My heart beats for landscapes as I show them here, rough, wild and primitive. I hope with this series of pictures from Canada, to have conveyed just this character of the country, because that is my concern. It is also deep in my heart to honor the indigenous and original population of the "Wild West" with these images, because they are always forgotten. To wrong, as I mean. Their wisdom and courage must be honored and respected, as well as their justified concerns for their native country. Since I am child, I wear this in my heart and have now been able to fulfill one of my childhood dreams by visiting this wonderful country with its unique nature.

Our Blue Planet is in great Danger
Mankind will soon be here a stranger
If nothing is done
We won’t have anymore Fun
As Life will become a Struggle
We’ll soon get into Trouble
Together with Flora and Fauna
We’ll end up in the Nirwana
Let’s safe our blue-tiful Planet
We can’t ignore it nor leave it

mankind with all its fake dreams, its hypocritical indignation, its ignorant anger and narcissistic public outbursts ... we are the makers of evil and yet stand open-mouthed in front of it and wonder where it came from ...
I tried to think of something that would make one Smile and I kept coming up blank. So I thought maybe I can photograph my contender in a kinda funny way??? The Safety Pin...I pinned a fallen leaf back on to shrub hoping it would stop the leaves from falling.....(and winter coming)
On April 10, 1849, Walter Hunt was grantedUS patent for his safety pin.

President Barack Obama is in Hiroshima, Japan today. He is the first sitting U.S. president to visit, Hiroshima Japan and said that "mankind possessed the means to destroy itself". Unfortunately, I am afraid that the way things are going presently this is quite possible, he also called for "Moral Revolution" and I personally, join him in that call!
More than 120,000 people are still alive having survived the horrors of the atomic bombings in 1945. We must make a worldwide concentrated effort to avoid this ever happening again!

************************************************************
A mokoro is a type of canoe commonly used in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. It is propelled through the shallow waters of the delta by standing in the stern and pushing with a pole, in the same manner as punting.
Mekoro are traditionally made by digging out the trunk of a large straight tree, such as an ebony tree or Kigelia tree.

christian musical | Gospel hymn | "God's Hopes for Mankind Have Not Changed" | God Wants to Gain a Group of Overcomers
www.holyspiritspeaks.org/videos/God-s-hopes-have-not-chan...
Introduction
Ever since He created man in the beginning,
God has yearned for a group, a group of overcomers,
a group that will walk with Him and are able to
understand,
comprehend and know His disposition.
Regardless of how long He still has to wait,
regardless of how hard the road ahead,
no matter how far off the objectives He yearns for,
God has not altered nor given up on His expectations
for man.
This wish of God has never changed.
This wish of God remains the same.
This wish of God has never changed.
This wish of God, this wish of God will never fade.
Ever since He created man in the beginning,
God has yearned for a group of overcomers,
a group that will walk with Him and are able to understand,
comprehend and know His disposition.
God has not altered nor given up on His expectations
for man.
This wish of God has never changed.
This wish of God remains the same.
This wish of God has never changed.
This wish of God, this wish of God will never fade.
This wish of God has never changed.
This wish of God remains the same.
This wish of God has never changed.
This wish of God, this wish of God will never fade.

Nicéphore Niépce
The first partially successful photograph of a camera image was made in approximately 1816 by Nicéphore Niépce, using a very small camera of his own making and a piece of paper coated with silver chloride, which darkened where it was exposed to light.
There would be so many things to choose from. Not only is the camera an idea but also the things that the wee people are doing.

In the RL island named Furillen, in Sweden, a Natura 2000 wildlife reserve has been created.
We say " migratory birds" , we don't say " ornithological immigrants" ; because birds know no borders, they are at home everywhere, at least in any place where the climate suits them, and where mankind does not destroy their means of existence.
