Desafio Segura a Coisa 2018 tema: Crochet - 1/6

 

Escolhi esmaltar com o Dior para combinar com o vestido da bonequinha que terminei de fazer ontem, e só depois percebi que o Sunnies é coral, enquanto que o vestidinho é totalmente laranja rss. Para não perder a viagem (e a segurada), fiz ~meique uma nail art, passando o Riveting, que é bem laranjão, no indicador e mindinho e carimbando com ele as outras unhas.

 

O Sunnies é lindo e tem uma fórmula ótima, além do pincel maravilhoso, mas precisei passar 3 camadas para cobrir bem.

A estampa da carimbada é da plaquinha BM-S104.

 

Não tenho como avaliar a aplicação do Riveting, pois passei apenas uma camada dele sobre o Sunnies, mas achei lindo, apesar do exagero de brilho. Não passei TC.

Let's talk a second. I fell for the peril of instagram, I was inspired by a post by @torimnails, who had been inspired by @overglowedit

 

I used a nail art brush for the hearts, but did the French tips free hand using the bottle brush... I finished thinking "OMG this isn't GOOD ENOUGH!"

 

but I caught myself, I do this for fun and to have pretty nails... any that I hate, ill just change early, its NAIL POLISH! Within a week I'll have something new... "Dani, are YOU happy with it?" nope its not perfect... but I didn't set up to get super clean lines I could have done tape/guides/ hole reinforcers.... I was testing my freehand skill, and seeing about minimal tools (even though I have them)

 

I've been evaluating social media use in my life and this was the first time I got the IG "ping" I had to remind myself that I'm here to just share pics, followers and comments are nice, but im not in a spot where I get any real kickbacks from this (yes I'm a Maniology ambassador but that code has never been used)

 

I mainly use this to look back at my progress a catalog of sorts where I do get feedback (and I get giddy with that feedback)

 

I was too hard on myself

1: I judged pre clean up

2: I did free hand work on my dominate hand! Who cares about a squiggly line? Are some nails better than others? Sure! Do *I* really care? Nope, thay are still cute!

 

I am not a salon, I'm a SAHM who works A LOT with her hands, I have limits on how much I can baby them (gloves help!!!)

A NYE mani that prob won't last! But I wanted to try it out @karanailedit did a confetti tutorial and I expanded on it because new toys!

 

@hellomaniology order came in and I'd planned on shrinking things... the numbers are too small to really shrink tho lol

 

I used @essie in licorice (one coat)

Maniology sticky black (one coat), concealing base (I need to plain calcium rich base lol), Bam! White, and holo prism top coat, and the put a ring on it set for confetti 🎊

Did this yesterday! Yesterday was my twins birthday they

Both are sort if named after the Northern Lights, so when I got my Jan 2019 @manixmebox minimalist galaxy and it had the lights on it I knew what I was doing first.

 

Two of the nail stickers stuck in the package so I just used them up as well

 

I did @rory_random nails too might get pictures later!

Add that to watching @simplynailogical 90s nail art video, and this is the result! These little bugs are not perfect, but they make me smile!
