Everything in the grounds of Wat Hong Rattanaram is fake. It does give for a well manicured fresh look which couldn't be otherwise replicated in the tropics but it does also look rather tacky

Hidden almost out of sight, just off the Huron Street bridge in downtown Stratford, Ontario lies the Shakespearean Gardens. This well manicured English garden offers a formal setting with boxwood hedges,stone walkways, benches and gazebo yet comes alive with the brilliant colour of an amazing array of flowers, herbs, shrubs and trees.
The views from the garden are just as impressive with the historic Perth County Courthouse to one side and the gently flowing Avon River on the other side. Stone steps and a pathway along the Avon River lead you underneath the old Huron Street bridge and towards the Shakespeare festival. 224
The fence between us and our neighbour JP was flattened when an old tree broke in half
and fell on it. It was in rough shape all ready so it didn't take much. When we first moved here,
there was no fence at all, there were two lovely big hazelnut trees which straddled the
property line. It was quite lovely for about fifteen years, then we got a new neighbour,
whom I named "Shithead", long story ...and he cut down the trees and put up a fence.
All the remaining fencing is getting very old as are we, we have replaced our back and side
fences with our other neighbours. I don't think JP can afford new fencing and I don't care.
He is a collector of car stuff as are his kids. We get along, help each other, much more
important that new fences and manicured yards.

The manicure was made before a trip to Montenegro. This is why it is bright, azure, and has seaworld creatures.
Just having some fun with an edit- these are re-enactors playing their part at EAA Airventure 2006. The smoke in the background is from the pyro (dynamite and gasoline) used for simulated bombing runs by warbirds. Always fun to see stuff blow up.

I like to shoot thru trees, sometimes it presents a different perspective
These scrub oak trees provide a filtered view. They are neatly trimmed up quite a way. It's the wildlife that contribute to this. The Deer mostly, they lay down and spend the whole day under the trees. Over time the trees and any small branches or leaves are cleaned off. You can see evidence of this on the 3 trees on the left, about a foot off the ground, there is animal fur clinging on. Most likely Deer.
