I'm extremely happy with how this one turned out! It really all came together in the editing. It was easier than I thought to turn a green tree yellow! Also the drawn lines were a last minute addition but I think it works.

2018 has been a monumental year for superhero films, so I thought what better of a time would it be than count down my top 100 superhero movies of all-time! Now I wanted to make sure I included every Marvel and DC movie I’ve seen on this list, so there are a few “superhero” movies that I have seen, but didn’t make the list. As much as I love some of DC’s animated films, I wanted this list to only contain theatrically released superhero films. One more thing, director’s cuts, no matter how different they are, aren’t roped together with their original film (in case you were wondering why Batman v Superman and Watchmen were so high on the list).

Unfortunately (in my opinion) this livery replaced the red an white livery seen in most of the other photos. Isle of Man National Transport 46, one of the intermediate batches of the 'Jumbo' Alexander bodied Atlanteans returned to the depot along North Quay in Douglas.
Preserved Merseyside Transport Alexander bodied Leyland Atlantean PDR2/1 1162, XKC 789 J is pictured whilst operating a heritage bus service in connection with an open day at the North West Vehicle Restoration Trust's premises in Kirkby. This bus was ordered by Liverpool Corporation but delivered after the formation of Merseyside P.T.E. and latterly served with Isle of Man Transport as 46, MAN 1378 before passing into preservation.

[Indonesia] A NEW FAITH: A marketing diploma graduate from a private institute in Singapore, Ivan Sasongko (陈小旺, left; b. 1961) started working for his brother-in-law who owned a coffee factory in Surabaya, east Java, when he returned to Indonesia. In 1989, Sasongko was sent to Makassar to set up a branch office. Two years later, Sasongko met a pribumi or "indigenous" Indonesian lady who would become his wife in 1993. Following the wish of her father, Sasongko converted into Islam. A Confucius believer, Sasongko's mother was shocked initially but accepted the news eventually. His siblings accepted his decision without fuss, as they had also converted from Confucius faith to Catholicism through marriage.
Ironically, some of the pribumi and non-Muslim Chinese actually see the new Islamic converts in the same negative light. “They convert because they want political power or a big contract. If not, they convert because of security. The Indonesian Chinese always convert into Islam for some excuse,” laments Sasongko, who is now a supplier of graphic materials. According to Sasongko, there are Chinese Muslims who have suffered for their conversion. Some have been forced out of the family. And when they die, some of them, including well-known Chinese Muslim leaders, are buried in non-Islamic way by their surviving family members.
It took him two years to adjust to the religion. He stopped eating pork immediately but was afraid to pray in the mosque, as though everyone would stare at him if he had done so. This feeling is shared by all new converts, says Sasongko. His wife became his first Islamic teacher. One of the first things he learnt was to perform the sholat (five mandatory Islamic prayers) in the right manner. The Hokkien is now proud to introduce himself as a Chinese Muslim. Some of the pribumi Muslims are surprised at his commitment to the religion -- fasting during Ramadan or learning Arabic so as to read the Koran.
"The more I study the Koran, the more I feel its power. Islam is extremely tolerant. Harming people is simply not allowed," says Sasongko, second deputy of PITI (Indonesian Chinese Moslem Association) Sidoarjo, east Java. "There are many people who know very little about the Koran but talk too much."
Nowadays, he and his wife still join in the celebrations during Chinese New Year. Sasongko's mother would cook with coconut oil and point out the pork dishes for both of them. He would also visit his China-born father's grave during Qingming (清明, tomb-sweeping day) and pray in the Islamic way.
Interestingly, the experience of his eldest son, enrolled in a school run by Muhammadiyah (second largest Islamic organization in Indonesia led by reformist leaders), suggests that conversion does not equate acceptance. Because he looks "Chinese", the classmates often made fun of him. Only when Sasongko and his wife lodged a complaint did the situation improve.

A bunch of Soph's friends jokingly tease me about not being a very manly man. I don't really take much offence because it's mostly true. I don't find the need to settle my differences through aggression and violence, I'm not a yob by any means and I (shock horror!) don't drink copious amounts of beer! I'm not saying this is what defines a manly man, but you get the idea.
I'd like to think that being a gentleman is something that men can still aspire to in modern society, and I guess I'm comfortable with that aspect of my personality.
So you needn't visualise me, in my feminine ways, this is perhaps what I would have looked like was I born a girl (or would look like if I pursued a career in cross dressing). The skinnier nose, thinner eyebrows, bigger eyes and changed jawline indeed do make me look very strange but I'm actually quite glad I wasn't born a girl because I nearly burnt off both of my ears using Soph's hair straightner; It's something I hope I never have to use again!

ACCIDENT AT PARNELL.
MAN BURIED IN A FALL OF CLAY.
An accident occurred in the coarse of excavating operations on the street boundary of Mr P. Gleeson's property, Cleveland-road, this morning, in connection with some concrete work preparatory to the erection of a cottage. A workman named James Dalrymple, a single man, of about 45 years, who lives at 217, Hobson-street, was digging out the clay, while an assistant was removing it, when suddenly the man on top noticed the bank beginning to slip. He cried out a warning to the man below, but before Dalrymple was able to move more than about two feet from the face a mass of watersoaked clay crushed down on to him, burying him entirely. Willing hands immediately set to work to extricate him, and a few minutes 3 scooping soon freed his head from the engulfting mass, but it was evident that the man had been severely hurt, so Dr. Kinder was telephoned for and was soon on the scene. Meanwhile every effort was being made to clear away the glue-like mixture that embraced the body of the buried man, who was suffering very greatly from the combined effects of injuries, shock, and the chilling clasp of the cold day. At first he refused to take the whisky which his succourers endeavoured to persuade him to swallow, but as the numbing effects of the soggy pressure became more acute, he consented to swallow the stimulant, which helped to keep his circulation going until he was finally released, after about two hours' work. It was then discovered that the shovel with which he had been working had been driven against his right thigh, fracturing it badly, while it was evident that he was also suffering from internal injuries. The sufferer was removed with all dispatch to the district hospital, where, on arrival, his condition was seen to be very serious. The hole in which Dalrymple was working at the time of the fall was nearly 18 feet and the work of unearthing the man was carried out with considerable difficulty. Among the volunteers who rendered valuable assistance were Messrs. Sullivan, McGrath, Morris, and Hodgson, members of the Parnell Borougn Council's road staff. Upon inquiry at the hospital this afternoon Dalrymple's condition was reported to be serious.

After suffering for nearly a year from injuries received through being buried by a fall of earth, at Parnell, on July 5 last James Dalrymple died at the hospital on Saturday morning. The deceased was a single man, 46 years of age. He wa s a native of Scotland, but had lived in New Zealand about 12 years at the time of his death, and came to Auckland some 18 months ago.

The mane of the adult male lion, unique among cats, is one of the most distinctive characteristics of the species. It makes the lion appear larger, providing an excellent intimidation display; this aids the lion during confrontations with other lions and with the species' chief competitor in Africa, the spotted hyena.[45] The presence, absence, colour, and size of the mane is associated with genetic precondition, sexual maturity, climate, and testosterone production; the rule of thumb is the darker and fuller the mane, the healthier the lion. Sexual selection of mates by lionesses favors males with the densest, darkest mane.[46] Research in Tanzania also suggests mane length signals fighting success in male–male relationships. Darker-maned individuals may have longer reproductive lives and higher offspring survival, although they suffer in the hottest months of the year.[47] In prides including a coalition of two or three males, it is possible that lionesses solicit mating more actively with the males who are more heavily maned.[46]
