NGC 1977, NGC 1973 and NGC 1975 - Running Man Nebula
Reflection nebula NGC 1977, NGC 1973 and NGC 1975 and open cluster NGC 1981 This colorful group of reflection nebula are located just north of Messier 42 and Messier 43, which can be partially seen at the bottom of this image.
Found along Orion's sword just north of the bright Orion Nebula complex, these reflection nebulae are also associated with Orion's giant molecular cloud about 1,500 light-years away but are dominated by the characteristic blue color of interstellar dust reflecting light from hot young stars.
A (really) wet winter in California this year has prevented me from getting more useful data on this - but the results is still worth presenting.

Just prior to walking up to this man sitting on his suitcase I saw the most curious sight...
See his left hand slipping into his pocket? What you cannot see is his cell phone on which he just finished texting.
You are looking at a classic comic book cover in the theme of Spider-Man; The Amazing Spider-Man. One of the toughest rivals; 'Sandman' takes on Peter Parker this time.
The size of this build is (A1-format) 594x841mm.
It took me a full week to design and create this MOC.
About 5.000 parts, in which almost all the red and pink elements from my stock, have been used in this model.
(Scan vom Dia)
Man, man...MAN!
The Wülfrath Local History Museum was the destination of a Father's Day tour in 2001 with the two MAN railcars 25 & 24 of the Rhein-Sieg-Eisenbahn RSE. A service stop was made at the level crossing at the entrance to Wülfrath station, without any red tape. A single step served as a replacement platform. This reduced the walk for passengers to the museum from a good 1 km to just about 300 meters. Man, man...I wonder if that was lega?

I was able to get up on a crane during the main event at Burning Man. Before I got on, they made 100% sure (and then double-checked) that everyone had gone to the bathroom. Once you are up on the crane, you're up there for two hours. I can only assume the crane operator was very serious about this because the worst-possible situation had occurred during an earlier Burning Man when he was at ground-level.
