La 486.007 est figée en pleine vitesse dans la plaine de la rivière Turiec à Malý Čepčín, au nord de Turčianske Teplice, peu avant de prendre la bifurcation vers la ligne de montagne menant à Čremošné et Banská Bystrica.

Across the open plain of the Turiec river at Malý Čepčín, north of Turčianske Teplice, 486.007 is caught at speed, not far from the junction where it will take the mountain line towards Čremošné and Banská Bystrica.

La vallée du Turiec s’étend entre les monts de la Veľká Fatra, à l’est, et le massif de Žiar, à l’ouest, qui la sépare du bassin de Handlová et de Prievidza. Le train est photographié ici à la hauteur de Kláštor pod Znievom, dans la lumière encore basse du petit matin.
Venu de Vrútky, ce train spécial à vapeur descend vers le sud en direction de Horná Štubňa. Là, il quittera l’axe de la vallée pour bifurquer vers l’est, en direction de Čremošné au sud du massif Veľká Fatra.
À 6h47, la 486.007 « Zelený Anton » traverse les champs dans une lumière douce et encore fraîche.

The Turiec Valley lies between the Veľká Fatra Mountains to the east and the Žiar range to the west, the latter separating it from the Handlová and Prievidza basin. The train is seen here near Kláštor pod Znievom, in the low light of the early morning.
Having come from Vrútky, this steam special is heading south towards Horná Štubňa. There, it will leave the main axis of the valley and take the line eastwards, climbing the steep gradients towards Čremošné, on the southern edge of the Veľká Fatra.
At 06:47, 486.007 Zelený Anton crosses the fields in a soft, still-cool morning light.

350 020, is captured at the head of Ex 608 Tatran from Košice to Bratislava during the passage through the Krpeľany reservoir under the majestic hills of the Malá Fatra National Park.
The recently retired "Rozália" has apparently ended her more than 50 years of regular service under ČSD/ŽSR/ZSSK and is looking forward to an active rest under the auspices of the ŽMSR.

Kralován előtt, a festői szépségű Árva-völgy bejáratához érkezik a tolatós tehervonat a harminchetes Bardotkával. A háttérben kiemelkedő látványos sziklaszirt az 1610 méter magas Nagy-Rozsutec (Veľký Rozsutec), mely a Kis-Fátra egyik ikonikus hegycsúcsa. A hegyet vonattal megkomponálni csak itt lehet, ahol az Árva már az utolsó méterein folyik, mielőtt a Vágba ömlene.
751 037 s vlakom Mn 86550 (Trstená - Lisková) pred stanicou Kraľovany, v údolí rieky Orava. V pozadí vidíme Veľký Rozsutec (1610 m).
Mixed light photo (from sky, antenna tower nearby, head torch < 1%, perceptual processing). Martinské hole mts, Malá Fatra, ~1470 m elevation.
Merged from 44 consecutive shots, first 40 tracking sky using Ioptron SkyTracker (with forgotten polarscope). Samyang fisheye lens 12mm/2.8 at F8. Processed in LR and Corel PP software, EXIF belongs to the first shot, sorry for wrongly set year - Taken on March 12, 2021.
