Goal: Create series art for 'Extreme Makeover'
Audience: Church membership (all ages), visitors to our website
Direction: Something along the lines of the TV show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Project: This particular piece would be for our screens, but this design direction would be used for screens, print, and web
Other info: 'Before And After' is one of the sermon titles, and would change weekly. Being directed to 'borrow' from pop culture is about my least favorite thing to do, but I tried to roll with it. Went for the same feel as Home Edition's main graphic but revamped to fit our people and message. I know it's a fine line to walk; any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Isn't it funny how colours don't come out as you expect them to in photos. That cowl neck top is actually a kind of emerald green.
Did a smoky eye on Vera with purple and peach tones. Up close of the eye - purple on lid and outer corners, brown tones on whole lid, peach above it, white below the brow, and lined with black eyeshadow (wetted flat brush)
She was pretty before, but nothing compared to after her trip to David. She is so soft and feminine. I performed minor refinishing on her and sprayed her before her trip. Gown was gift from a friend and the jewelry was a find while out jewelry shopping in Houston.
