Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

This is my first work of the year pleading with everyone worldwide to stop and think about what we are doing to one another through wars and how we are selfishly destroying our planet for self-gain, not for the community. Most importantly, can we change our behavior collectively to make a better, happier world? If we all work together, we could make a change. With love, friendship, teamwork, determination, understanding, respect, responsibility, compassion, and the will to work it is possible.

ArtfullyGiving was founded on a simple idea – that art can change the world. But at Artfully Giving, we know that it is not just seeing great art that changes lives. In our case, the platform we use to share and sell art represents a new way to promote positive social and environmental good.

As a social enterprise, Artfully Giving donates 25% of its profits to nonprofits and causes that align with its mission of promoting social and environmental sustainability. This means that when customers purchase products through Artfully Giving's platform, they support responsible business practices and fair trade and contribute to various charitable causes.

Happy Earth Day everyone!

We need to take care of the Earth before it becomes a big trash can. One of my biggest peeves is seeing people throwing garbage out the window of vehicles or dropping it on the ground as they walk. So thoughtless on so many fronts! Then there's the massive waste of over packaging that is thrust on us when you try to buy anything these days, whether it be manufactured goods to food.

Where is it all going to go?! We have one planet, lets look after it!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Buy local. Grow your own. What ever you do, don't wait for someone else to make a difference.

Please visit ArtfullyGiving.com and help us make a difference. Let us know if you have a charity you want to sponsor

Congratulations to all you wonderful women out there, we are the glue that keeps families and friends together, we are strong, we are capable, we exude love, caring, compassion, empathy, sympathy, resolve, understanding and we together we can make a difference in everyone's lives. Believe in yourself and know your value!

All violence against children is preventable. States must invest in evidence-based policies and programs to address factors that give rise to violence against children. - UN Study on Violence Against Children, 2006

Is it too modern to notice that there is nothing about rape, nothing about the protection of children from cruelty and nothing about genocide? Or is it exactingly in context to notice that some of these very offenses are about to be positively recommended? -

A male wheatear a sign that summer is on its way to the uplands of Britain .

Please help so this does not become a sight our future generations miss out on, from the sound of the skylarks to watching pied flycatchers catching insects from a tree branch. I know that all of my followers and friends on here are just as concerned and appalled at whats going on

Please can urge you all to take a minute of your time and maybe even ask friends and family to just sign this petition lets please try and make a difference

Clive

I think that you are someone who is as appalled as I at the slaughter, I wonder if you would be so kind as to consider signing this petition.

I am sure that you are aware of the problems besetting migratory birds on their journey through the Meditterranean region on their way to and from Northern Europe.

The authorities pay lip service to preventing illegal trapping and other hunting activity in the SBA's and I feel that continuing pressure should be put on them to act on the issue.

I would be most grateful if you would consider signing the petition and perhaps ask others you know of and with similar interests as ours to do so also.

Many thanks ...

Clive

Ps Mick I copied some of your fine words in your email I hope you dont mind ??

I went with a few ladies to the market in Iganga one afternoon. While they visited the pharmacy, I spent some time walking around talking to folks and taking pictures. This Grandmother made sure to get my attention so I would photograph her sleeping treasure. She had such kindness in her face.

How to help girls like this:

This frame has not been cropped. The following post processing has been added: auto-tone, bleach bypass, medium grain, light fill and black clipping. The dark spots are not dirt on the lens, they are flies.

This is not a posed or staged picture. It was spur of the moment as the car I was in left the rubbish dump. I caught just two frames hanging out the window and this is the best of them.

A little food for thought:

"You can do two things with your money, you can spend it or invest it..we all know the end result...in the same way you can do two things with your TIME, you can spend it or invest it."

These words always cause me to pause, like this bird, to take it all in, and think about my time, am I spending it or investing it....we all know the goal : ) and Hey, who doesn't want to make a difference while they are here! : )

Here is a video I made from a children's song I wrote many years ago. "Everything comes from something little without little there couldn't be a big, the forest needs each and every single tree and the tree needs every little bitty leaf and twig" We are indeed all little bitty drops in the ocean of life.

Feel free to use the video , sing the song , adapt it for your needs pleasure and happiness. PLEASE NOTE - IF FURTHER INTEREST IN SONG CONTACT ME HERE or via Johnlight77@yahoo.com (contact info at end of show is now out of date, so use this.Thanks.

Hi friends! I'm pink again. :)

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I'm (un)dressed in pink to show support for those affected by this &*^%$# of a disease (likely all of us), and those helping to fight it.

There are countless ways to help, here are two simple ones:

1. Support the work of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.

2. If you go to this site and just click the pink button, you donate a free mammogram to a woman in need. (you don't have to give any money, just click the button. easy). :)

As always, thank you, thank you, thank you dear friends. If anyone knows of other groups, etc - please add them below.

p.s. how badly do you think that monkey wishes he could close his eyes? haha. :)D
