My second capture of this gentleman. My good lady and I were having a stroll around a night festival in Nottingham's Lace Market and there he was again. I'm still amazed that a street musician can operate with a huge piano but I'm so glad he does.
For the record he was playing a beautiful rendition of Mad World. After the past few weeks a very appropriate tune.
San Marco, Venizia, Italia
Of all the places I've visited, Venice was one of the most unique and certainly very captivating. Its people, architecture and mode of transportation were equally interesting. Anyone can easily like the place. The view from Piazzale Roma alone gave me an impression that I was stepping into a completely different world. I say visit Venice to completely appreciate its grandeur. And don't forget to bring someone special along with you.
Oh, hey! Have you heard of the "magic hand" technique? Yes, I employed it here. I was traveling light (on camera gear) which meant I had to leave my filters home. It really worked great. Who needs graduated filters anyway?
today and for the next week, more than 300 yellow balloons fly over the old manholes - each representing a pit more than 100 years old...and tomorrow night they will be illuminated until 1am....

i know there is something awesome-rex about it, but I am drawin' a blank
I'm convinced that I work with the most wonderful group of Administrative Professionals on earth. The quantity and quality of work they accomplish each day is impressive, but even more amazing to me is the way they do it. The atmosphere is always a great mix of professionalism and fun. They make the office an enjoyable place to be, and that's not an easy thing to do.
Each year I try to come up with something to give them on Administrative Professionals Day that shows my appreciation in a unique way. The soaps in this photo represent a portion of the gifts they received this year.
The sea salt bars and Shea butter soap bars are all handmade. I purchased them from Magic Hands Workshop on Etsy. The products that I have tried from Magic Hands have all been wonderful. I highly recommend the Lime Margarita salt bars, the Passionfruit Rose Shea Butter soap bars and the Pomegranate and Black Currant Shea Butter soap bars.
Some of the fragrances represented here are Lime Margarita, Mardi Gras, Alabaster, Ginger Silk and Waterfall.
