Happy Halloween!!

"Day after day

They send my friends away

To mansions cold and grey

To the far side of town

Where the thin men stalk the streets

While the sane stay underground

Day after day

They tell me I can go

They tell me I can blow

To the far side of town

Where it's pointless to be high

'Cause it's such a long way down

So I tell them that

I can fly, I will scream

I will break my arm

I will do me harm

Here I stand

Foot in hand

Talking to my wall

I'm not quite right at all

Am I?

Don't set me free

I'm as heavy as can be

Just my Librium and me

And my E.S.T. makes three

'Cause I'd rather stay here

With all the madmen

Than perish with the sad men roaming free

And I'd rather play here

With all the madmen

For I'm quite content they're all as sane as me

(Where can the horizon lie

When a nation hides

Its organic minds

In a cellar

Dark and grim

They must be very dim)

Day after day

They take some brain away

Then turn my face around

To the far side of town

And tell me that it's real

Then ask me how I feel

Here I stand

Foot in hand

Talking to my wall

I'm not quite right at all

Don't set me free

I'm as helpless as can be

My libido's split on me

Gimme some good 'ole lobotomy

'Cause I'd rather stay here

With all the madmen

Than perish with the sad men

Roaming free

And I'd rather play here

With all the madmen

For I'm quite content

They're all as sane as me

I should have glasses on but didn't prefer the selection--no cats eye styles...hee hee!

Inspired by the show on AMC.

This illustration is the actual logo for the show combined with this photo of me from about a year ago:

It was done entirely in photoshop. I really want to start watching the show!

It's surprising to me that I look quite similar at last, LOL

But the jacket... Had no choice. I never wear nothing so serious as a jacket (more into shirts and leather jackets) but in the case I had to wear one... please, let it be THIS CRAZY ONE!!! :D

Mad Maned myself, but I don't smoke!

Peggy-" Oh yes, I'm hot. Salvatore wants me."

Salvatore- "God no"

Me, giving a presentation, coffee in hand.

Happy Halloween from Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce

A Jere abstract wall art. Made out of toothpicks and other wood painted differents color for a metal look. My gift to Michael Williams photographer for Haute Doll magazine. It's not in Don's real office but one is in Roger's office on the TV show.

This doll is beyond Gorgeous! I wish the Madmen dolls went the more realistic route and made dolls like these instead of the Silkstones.

may 7, 2009 :

i'll take the credit for the shot but the lighting i attribute to the fabulous works of chris mandley ASC. and the wonderful crew of "MAD MEN"

A small selection of Gotham rogues, in varying degrees of customised.

The Creeper, Azrael, Killer Moth (custom jet-pack), Mr Freeze (combining three modern figs), The Cavalier, and of course, the Joker.

While strolling through MM's stream I saw she did a madmen poster, here is mine.

'It might feel restrictive, but the shape of my body is transformed,' said Marianne

One more from Sydney, this time with a consciously illustrative feel. Loosely inspired by Dominic's photos.... www.flickr.com/photos/bugatto/

I really don’t know how to articulate how much I was dying and going to photographic heaven today. The stormy weather provided such a wonderful element to this 1950’s shoot that Dolly styled to perfection, she and Adam looked like models for a magazine! It’s kind of awesome to get hired to do shoots like this, because it is nothing but fun the whole time and never boring.

Enjoy. Why not? Of course you will. I know, you know it.

June is an exciting month in Whistler as the transition to summer is completed. Skis are stored away and the bikes come out to play.

These guys (and girls) are mad!

This is an early sneak preview of my MAD DOLLS feature for the upcoming March/April 2010 issue of Haute Doll Magazine (www.hautedoll.com) featuring fashions by Natalia Sheppard, Diorama and miniature furniture by Carolyn Allen, and Barbie repaints by Vin Trapani. This is a vintage painted-hair Ken head on a VOLKS articulated body wearing the vintage Ken fashion Saturday Date by Mattel. (Keywords: Mad Men Madmen Ken doll Jon Hamm Don Draper)

Lovers and madmen have such seething brains,

Such shaping fantasies, that apprehend

More than cool reason ever comprehends.

The lunatic, the lover and the poet

Are of imagination all compact:

One sees more devils than vast hell can hold,

That is, the madman: the lover, all as frantic,

Sees Helen's beauty in a brow of Egypt:

The poet's eye, in fine frenzy rolling,

Doth glance from heaven to earth, from earth to heaven;

And as imagination bodies forth

The forms of things unknown, the poet's pen

Turns them to shapes and gives to airy nothing

A local habitation and a name.
