A Croatian friend asked me for some Palm photos from So Cal and I was recently inspired by John's photo flic.kr/p/9JJvUv so I went with this angle.
Sized to fit a 1920 x 1080 widescreen imac.
This is my minimalist Mac OS X Desktop. Working on a blog post about this for www.davidturnbull.com
You can find the wallpaper I use at:
I will write a proper description about this one soon. But, in short, I made it from scratch in Adobe Photoshop CS5.1. You can use it as a wallpaper for your Mac.

I recreated the attraction sign for Disneyland Paris' new Ratatouille ride, completely from scratch in Adobe Photoshop CS5.1, at 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160).
I based my design on a photo of the new sign that was installed above the entrance to the attraction, on 6 June 2014.
The only element I used, that I didn't create myself, was the Copperplate font for the word "Ratatouille".
It's interesting to compare this to the Kitchen Calamity logo I made back in January 2012.
