ribbons ... A theme that took me quite some time to work out! More difficult than I thought. Here is my best attempt, looking forward to your feedback.
A beautiful damselfly in the early hours ... such a delicate insect deserves a macro picture. The damselflies come into action as soon as the sun warms them. Meanwhile, they rest quietly in the greenery, waiting for the first rays of sunlight. Love them

This is my trusty magnetic rod that I use for picking up dropped dressmaker pins. Its diameter is similar to a slim pen and about half the length. I've had it since my fashion industry days in the late 1960's. These days I'm not doing a lot of sewing, so it sits in a little metal machine accessories tin along with a couple of tiny screwdrivers, a little brush for fluffing dust from the sewing machine needle area, and a pair of tweezers that I used to use when threading my old over-locker. The little magnet still works well and gets used on the odd occasion - and creating this photo certainly was a most odd occasion for its use.

The Red That Stops You in Your Tracks
There are moments by the roadside, in little gardens, that you simply can't pass without a "click." This pomegranate flower literally pulled me by the sleeve with its vibrant color. Even under a gray sky, it was screaming with life.
The challenge? 1/13th of a second, handheld, holding my breath. When technology and a steady hand cooperate, this velvety peace is born.

Postoje ti trenuci uz cestu, u malim vrtovima, pored kojih jednostavno ne možeš proći, a da ne "klikneš". Ovaj cvijet šipka (nar) me doslovno povukao za rukav svojom žarkom bojom. Iako je nebo bilo sivo, on je vrištao od života.
Izazov? 1/13 sekunde, iz ruke, bez daha. Kad tehnika i mirna ruka surađuju, nastane ovaj baršunasti mir.
