Fania Bolkin (her maiden name) a Holocaust survivor was born on 22.4.1922 in Vilna (Lithuania, formerly in Poland).

She was a member of “Hashomer Hatzair” youth movement. She fought the Nazis as a partisan. Her family was slaughtered in Ponar.

In 1946 she came to Israel. Fania’s victories as she used to say, are her two sons (and daughters in law) 7 grand children and 4 great grand children.

Fania passed away on 9.3.2008

 

May she rest in peace.

and blow or let fall the little "gunpowder" on a candle... very easy work
