... o resterà soltanto un'altra fragile illusione.. se le parole fossero una musica potrei suonare ore ed ore, ancora ore e dirti tutto di me...

A lone yellow butterfly drifts through a grayscale world, its wings glowing like captured sunlight against the muted hush of shadowed leaves. Every vein etched in its delicate form feels like a map of resilience a reminder that even in monochrome surroundings, color refuses to surrender. The contrast is deliberate, surgical: the black-and-white foliage becomes a stage, and the butterfly, the protagonist of light itself.
The composition draws the eye to the left, where motion and stillness coexist the butterfly suspended mid-flight, frozen between the act of escape and arrival. The selective color technique doesn’t just highlight the subject; it transforms it into a metaphor for persistence, for the way beauty insists on being seen even when the world fades to gray.
This image hums with quiet defiance a whisper of summer against the encroaching dusk. It’s not just a photograph; it’s a declaration that life, in all its fragile brilliance, will always find a way to glow. My latest photography is now available for purchase at crsimages.pixels.com/, featuring prints, framed art, and more from my curated collections.

I was lining up the hairy flower scarab, metallic beetle, when the paper wasp slipped into the frame — a perfect, unplanned collision of color and motion. Two visitors sharing the same bloom for a heartbeat, turning a simple macro into a small story about chance and wild Florida mornings. Lucky for me I was shooting the right wildflower!

Ways to Interpret "Bold" in Photography:
📌 Bold Colors – Vibrant, saturated hues that demand attention
📌 Bold Contrast – Strong light-to-dark transitions for high-impact visuals
📌 Bold Composition – Unconventional angles, leading lines, or dynamic framing
📌 Bold Subject Matter – Unique, daring, or thought-provoking imagery
📌 Bold Textures – Sharp details and intricate patterns that pop
