This photo makes me sad. The three triangles in this photo are actually the charred remains of burned rafters from the Nu-Way restaurant that recently caught fire. Unfortunately, the building was a total loss. The Armory Building was built in 1885. It was the first permanent home of the Macon Volunteers, a volunteer military unit. It was recently restored in 2006 and made available to the public for events.
