Clynnog & Trefor Volvo B10M / Alexander PS M236 TBV returns to its base at Llandygai Industrial Estate, Bangor after operating its afternoon school contract. Two buses are normally outstationed here from the main base at Trefor for school contracts in Bangor. The bus came from Stagecoach in Cumbria but was new to Stagecoach Ribble.

Clynnog & Trefor Volvo B10M / Alexander M236 TBV has just crossed the Menai Bridge spanning the treacherous waters of the Menai Straits, from Anglesey onto the Mainland. As it was a Saturday the bus was probably returning to the main depot at Trefor from its Isle of Anglesey outstation despite showing School Service on the display. This bus was new to Stagecoach Ribble and acquired from Stagecoach in Cumbria.

One of those cars which you're surprised to find are actually not very common. This car here is a 1994 Hyundai Pony Sonnet X2 with a 1.3 litre petrol engine. The Sonnet was the base model.
This Pony (also known as the Excel) was built in the last year of production. 51 Pony Sonnet X2's are still on the roads, quite a small number for a fairly modern car. This car looked very out of place outside a row of multi-million pound townhouses.

A September 2012 view of M236 TBV. It is seen returning along Llandegai Road in Bangor from a Bws Ysgol 389A duty. I was lucky as a few minutes later the dark clouds over Snowdonia made this location very dark and dull which ruined a good number of other photos.
This Volvo B10M-55, Alexander PS was new to Stagecoach Ribble and later worked in the Stagecoach in Cumbria allocation in Carlisle. It is one of a growing number of this type to join the Clynnog & Trefor fleet over the last few years.
