Das diesjährige Jahresthema der Werkstätte Fotografie Mannheim. Der Vorschlag setzte sich gegen "Licht und Schatten" und "Fotografie inspiriert durch einen großen Maler" durch.
Es ist schwierig das Thema ab- und einzugrenzen ... ich zeige meine Versuche bis zum Ende des Jahres.
Ich will in SW fotografieren und quadratisch.

...piove a dirotto e
in una via deserta si sente
d'un carro lo scricchiolio,
degli zoccoli lo scalpitio
in mezzo al triste mondo.
Abbandonato, un bambino
piange dietro una bara,
pallido il viso, occhi nel vuoto
chiede conforto alla nebbia
che stretto lo avvolge là…
dove la pupilla incerta
è in cerca d’una madre
del suo bacio, dell’ultimo abbraccio
ma oramai… tutto ha perso.
E’ solo coi suoi stracci addosso
lerci e inzuppati di pioggia
rimane la sua memoria
più santa e la più cara.
…sarai per sempre
il figlio di una donna muta.
Alza gli occhi al triste cielo
una figura intravede,…che
una silenziosa parola eleva,
sarai,….una mente brillante
e il suo ricordo lo conforta.
Gli dirà con placida fermezza;
con la gelosa e veggente tenerezza
avrò per lei sempre parole dolci

M33 or the Triangulum galaxy is 61,000 light years across. It lies 2.73 million light years from us.
This is has been cropped by only 5% due to stacking artefacts.
The only frames I had to discard were those affected by satellite interference.
I’m pretty pleased with the results considering I'm using a full frame sensor.

Many years ago before we were married, I gave my wife Margan this necklace -- a gold cube with M on each face on a gold chain. She wears it often and our young grandchildren are fascinated with it (they always want to wear it!).

With 100ish loads of Potash in tow the the 813 and 5093 dig in to get the cars moving and into the siding before they can pull a grain train from Malden. I would have to imagine the 813 was doing most of the work with its low speed lugging days of Ore trains on the DM&IR to later working the humps and pull down jobs at Kirk yard on the EJE.
