Looking back on an intensely green summer...

Standing knee-deep in cool, crystal clear waters with the sounds of the the Kiwi birds all around. I can't imagine it could get more enjoyable than this.

I heard this handsome squirrel before I saw him. When I went to investigate the sound he came out, unafraid, casually munching on his prized peanut.

A wider view of Alaska's Virgin Creek Falls. I loved the vivid and vibrant greens and the sweet mossy goodness around this lovely falls. And her sweet song. There is nothing else quite like standing in a place like this soaking in nature's bounty and blessings. Pure Zen.
