Supermoon lunar eclipse last night, the whole eclipse took about 2 hours, this is the second half. 這是昨晚月全食的后半程，前半場因為風比較大，映像不太好，只能用后半程了。（慚愧）
This is an early work of mine , taken with just a simple compact digital camera held up to the eyepiece of my telescope. Finally combined in Photoshop.

This is the first time I have shot directly at the moon. I know my settings are wrong, but I had very little time to grab the camera and capture this image leaning out of a window whilst the clouds broke revealing an orange glow to the fringe. Fortunately the Vibration Control on the Tamron lens is very effective and I was able to get a reasonable shot hand-held. I am going to learn how to do this properly next time!

En fait une lune nouvelle !....... mais pas la Nouvelle lune, seule phase qu'elle n'aura pas connue cette nuit-là !!

It seems in the fall the size of the moon grows exponentially.On this night it was rising right behind a large transmission tower about two miles from our house which created an interesting scene.I only wish the image was MUCH clearer.....

Sequence of shots taken between breaks in the cloud on 21st January 2019. Main image shows the "Super Wolf Blood Moon" just at the start of totality. Minutes later clouds eclipsed the Moon :-(

My best effort at capturing the moon. It was kinda hard catching it between the breaks in the cloud cover. This is straight from the camera, except the frame and cropping.
