This photo was taken in September in Saint Michel l'observatoire - the month when we quite often have storms. Looking to the north, it shows storm clouds moving in from the north-west.

I took a 6 hours trip from Aix en Provence to the Luberon valley. this was a stop at side of road en route.
Ob Radfahren oder alte-Häuser-gucken...in und um Bonnieux kann man das ausgiebig machen.

Classé parmi les plus beaux villages de France, Gordes s'élève face au massif du Luberon.
Bonnieux, ein schönes Bergdorf im Luberon, muss man sich zu Fuß erlaufen, um all die schönen Gassen und Häuser zu entdecken und die vielen Ausblicke in den Luberon und in den Vaucluse bis zum Mont Ventoux genießen zu können. Freitags ist übrigens auch Markttag.
Ein guter Abschluss von schönen Tagen im Luberon im Oktober 2017.

Das Bergdorf Lacoste im Luberon gab es übrigens viel eher als die gleichnamige Modemarke....
Im Dorf hat der französische Modeschöpfer Pierre Cardin als Eigentümer der Burg und potenter Investor seine Spuren hinterlassen. In Teilen wirkt das perfekt restaurierte Dorf wie eine Kulisse des ursprünglichen Dorfes. Ohne den Einsatz von Investorengeld wären andererseits aber wahrscheinlich viele Gebäude endgültig zerfallen...
Suchwort: Lacoste Vaucluse (sonst landet man vermutlich bei der Modemarke...)

Just returned recently from our summer vacation, that we spent the past couple of years now in the Southern part of France.Luckily, on that morning, a nice cloud sun constellation did spread the sun rays nicely and so the early morning way up did get some payback. Die von Ockerfarben geprägte Ansicht des auf einem Hügel gelegenen Dorfes Roussillon in der Provence (Vaucluse) ist immer wieder ein Blickfang, auch wenn man sich diesen Anblick auch im Herbst meist mit vielen anderen Besuchern teilen muss.
