The first Ducati in ages that has made me go "Oooooh!"
The 1098 is gorgeous, the 996 is an absolute legend but nothing Ducati has done in the past decade has been so... beastly.
Diavel means 'devil' in Italian which I think is perfect. Devilishly sexy!

Ducati’s new Testastretta (narrow head) engine first appeared on the 996R road bike in 2001. The 998R was introduced in 2002, a slightly more powerful and lighter machine than its predecessor. These were road legal versions of the factory race bikes ridden with great success by Troy Bayliss and Ben Bostrom in the World Superbike Championship.
Limited edition versions of the 998 included Bayliss and Bostrom models together with the 2004 FE (Final Edition) and Matrix, following the appearance of a Ducati in the film Matrix Reloaded.

I am....
Sitting on a big, red, Ducati 1098 Superbike. My backside might not be as sexy as the tail end of the big Italian twin, but this is what you would see if you followed me. I've loved Ducati's for oh so many years... and getting your tail on the seat of one is like spending a day in heaven.

The Ducktourer onboard the ever faithful Ducati ST3 doing what it does best: sport touring!
I've had this bike for six years now (a three valve per cylinder 992cc Ducati LTwin) and it hasn't missed a beat. It's had some mods done to the forks and a new heavier rate rear spring, but aside from a Termignoni exhaust system, new chip and race filter, plus some different disc rotors,it's still in standard trim. Looks like a sheep, goes like a wolf :)
This is the only one prototype of 90° V4 engine that made in 1964 still exist in the world.
It is displayed in the Iwashita collection where is yufuin oita prefecture.
